Re: Maruti Suzuki Swift: Technical Issues & Solutions

for dry wash i did not understand and twist means? and should i buy maruti cleaning kit thanks
He meant dusting ( dust removal by a duster, without using water) by saying dry cleaning, which most people do on a daily basis!. Don't twist the micro fiber cloth like you do while washing cloths, instead hold it in your palm and press it hard to remove water.

Never used cleaning kit from Maruti, but usually such things are overpriced with car dealers and cheaper in local market. Jopasu duster is a good quality one.

i can not buy that pressure water i just want to clean and shine up my body only so after shampoo i ca use microfiber to dry or not?
You can use the microfiber cloth to dry the surface after washing with water and shampoo. 90 out of 100 people won't have pressure washer at home, so don't worry.
Have a look at this Exhaustive-guide-car-detailing-basics. Explained in detail about car cleaning techniques and some good quality products available in market.

Microfiber cloth is mainly used to remove water over paint without damaging the paint.

Or
Wash the car using shampoo

Not dry cleaning or dusting.

You have a tap near car parking ,is it having a good pressure?
Rather than using bucket, using hose to rinse car first saves water,
If you use a pressure washer which startes at 4.5k in market, will use only 30% water u wash with bucket. Also removes dust and dirt in single stroke.

There is a car washing water container cum sprayer from 'Naaptol'. It is electrically operated from car's cigarette lighter point. Any of my friends used it? Is it trustworthy? They claim price Rs.3999/-+shipping. Please comment .

Havent used this prodcut, though IMO its better to buy a SKIL pressure washer at 4300+shipping than buying a hand sprayer at Rs.3999/-+shipping.

I am also looking for a 12v -dc car washer solution as i live in a apartment where no tap water connection at the parking and ac power source . I zeroed in on Resqtech products (About) especially this one 25 Liter 12V DC Bucket Washer (CD-25L-1)

Resqtech is a well known company and their products are reliable and sturdy than the one sold at Naaptol.

I read a few good reviews about the product at another forum.

A trawl through ebay yielded these two options
https://m.ebay.in/itm?itemId=331449661954
Cons: no accessories & short pipe. I will need to buy both pipe extension & power cord
https://m.ebay.in/itm?itemId=281535738034
This one carries the water internally. However, it requires 12v supply meaning car will need to be running & cable connected at the wash time. Also, it has a diaphragm pump, wont that spoil faster with any dirt or soap in the water? Since 12v doesnt have too much punch, will this deliver the pressure? Lastly, anyone know any thing about that brand?
Given that you dont pressure wash daily- only may be once a month, which option is viable?
Also, do you need to disconnect the battery when pressure washing the car from outside to avoid shorts?

Hi,

Anyone have any experience with this?
https://m.ebay.in/itm?itemId=111626976895

I like that its self contained & it can be ued for home cleaning also with a adapter. Does it have sufficient pressure to clean general dust & dirt? I know the Skil pressure washer is more capable but it needs 230v mains supply and a constant water connection which is not possible for us who park on the roads

Jopasu is a brand that sells car detailing and car care products. In some posts above people have suggested Jopasu duster for cleaning your car. Reading your posts in some of the threads I request it will be very nice of you if you read other posts in the thread carefully before adding more number of queries [thumbsup].

edit: Just realized I just did the same thing [lol].
