You will need a drill bit say around 10-15mm should be good. drill the hole on the seats. Tap die will thread the headrests and seats. Screw the nuts to the thread. Done. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think that's the procedure to follow. I am guessing it should be done within Rs 2k.

i feel they will spoil the beauty :(
It might buddy. But comfort is equally important. I will see to it that you can remove them when not in use so that the look isn't affected

thanks for that link jarpickle but I feel you really don't need to weld anything. You can just drill the seats and use bolts in the tubes to hold the headrests in position.

It is mentioned in post#552 of the thread. It might just get a bit complicated if you opt to weld the seat frame.

Nice idea. Will definitely give it a thought. Thanks man[:)]
more ideas welcome

Bolts will be used in the tubes welded to the seat frame. If there are tubes present, then then its a different story.

As far as I know most top end versions come with head rests in the rear.Is this the same for the Brio?If yes then you can try to find the rear of a Brio from a scrap yard.

Nope. Brio top end doesn't come with headrests. I am wanting this only for a reason that we are planning for highway trip sometime soon and there are pretty elder people who will be on board. It is pretty comfortable for us and you generally don't need it but I dont want them to feel uncomfortable when they will be banging the doors when feeling sleepy.

So, the first thing I have gotta find is whether the Brio seats come with the tube(I think it does. Generally all of them have tubes). Will check that out soon. Else if someone can inform me here, well and good.

I know the feeling. Our Ertiga LXi doesn't have headrests the 2nd and 3rd row and long trips can cause a major pain in the neck.

I used colin with water for windshield cleaning , it was ok to clean dust but was not good for cleaning Bird drops , my friend told me to use Maruti's Windshield washer fluid which cost 15rs , so i gave it a try and it worked and it gave very good results , i don't know why Honda does not have this kind of things.

some pictures of it for your reference

where do we get them dude ? Should we order it beforehand or something ? or easily available in the general car accessories shop ?

I am planning for a replace-able headrest for the same reason. Not sure if it will work out [frustration]:stupid:

Hi, i could report a similar when i took my car to the steep hills of Oooty and Adhirapally fals kerla.

The engine turned off and it took nearly a min to get it back on . Basically, the low end torque of the vehicle sucks big time. I wish there was a tuning box or whatever to get it fixed.

When you get stuck on uphills, try this : (Im sure all no this anyway)

1. Turn on the engine.
2. Slowly release the clutch and wait for it to vibrate- half clutch position [sleep]
3. Throttel slightly,
4. U can of course pump the throttle once u have some momentum

cheerz

they are pretty cheap, i have type-r form reliance autozone, jaynagar at 325 bucks

you can get some awesome deals off ebay, if you have an account on that one
So it is common problem or issue with all Brio's i Guess , some have experienced it some have not , it happens at steep elevations like 30 degrees or more at slower speeds .

Even i have tried same technique to get over it but speed it quite slow and becomes a problem when other cars are honking behind you . Honda should do something to fix it .

There is a Maruti Genuine Auto Parts Store near my Place , i asked them and they had it , so i guess it is pretty much available in all most any Maruti Genuine Auto Parts Stores , with Maruti's wide network , i don't think you will have trouble finding one

Hi, Anybody used Maxpider Kagu 3D floor mats in your Honda Brio?
I searched them on google, but returned with different pictures and prices from Rs. 6250 to Rs. 7850.
I am not sure which one is genuine and fake.
