I asked the Service Adviser specifically if it was due to leakage or some other serious issue but he denied it. And I do not use AC much, so usage could not be the reason for low levels of gas.

Gas filling done by the company while installation might be less to start with , it happens sometimes , Person i know had brought Ertiga and he was not happy with cooling , so Maruti Guys used some equipments to measure cooling and did same filling of gas , when he asked about the cause they told him proper gas was not filled in factory , now is happy with his Ac cooling .

Hi,
I bought Brio SMT RR and enjoying it from the day it entered my parking. Its been a week now.
Am getting an excellent mileage of 16-17 in city without AC (or minimal AC)

I am confused about the use of defogger. I tried switching on the defogger in heavy rains but it did not seem to enhance visibility. Should defogger be used only when AC is on?

As far as I know from my driving experience,if mild AC is run the mist formed inside on windscreen disappears.[ I think the mist forms due to temperature difference between inside and outside. During rain outside is colder and inside is hotter. So the vapours generated within condenses on relatively cold windscreen ].However I have not yet tried the defogger switch of my car.

its 9 months now and i have reached 10000KM mileage run. Only 2 services are finished. when is the third service to be done? Also i am using NItrogen fill instead of compressed air. Will this have any effect on the Milage of the car.

thanks & regards

Imran, First of all, welcome to community, and congrats on your ride.

What ODO / month did you get the 2nd service done? 6 months / 10k kms?

If yes, then your 3rd service would be due at 12 months / 20k kms, whichever is early.

Nitrogen filling doesnt add to better FE. Its all a myth. It only keeps the tyre cooler, and tyre pressure doesnt reduce as quickly as regular air. SO you can check the pressure once in 3-4 weeks, and / or ahead of every long distance trip.

The next service will be due in another 3 moths. Assuming you will not do another 10k in 3 months.
Nitrogen filling will not have any effect on mileage as far as i know. Nitrogen will only help keep the tyres cooler due to its chemical properties. A cooler tyre means that the stress levels on the tyre while moving are lesser.
Higher temperature in tyres result in tyre burst after long hours of running. Nitrogen reduces the chances of such tyre bursts.

I was looking for something like these for the "REAR" seats. Not the cushion headrests buddy.

I think this will be costly as by default Honda provided some sort of headrest attached to the seats. The one you are expecting is there in Swift and I think to achieve a similar one you seats need to be changed, if that can be...

I guess the stock head lights in BRIO arnt that powerful. My old santro had better headlights. Anyone who has changed the stock headlights can please provide suggestions.
