Hi fellow owners.

Came across this thread, wherein there was a failed attempt to steal the vehicle.

http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/f.../1658-theft-attempt-mahindra-scorpio-vlx.html

So, my question is, do we need to change the immobilizer password?

Has anyone tried it so far? Procedure? [roll][thinking]

If not, how exactly does it work?

The above thread sent a wave of current through my nervous system, as if somebody tried opening up my brain. [frustration]

No I dont think we have the immobilizer password on the brio's. But that is a damn important thing if you have one.

Honda amaze which is just like the brio does not have an immobilaser password . Besides there is only an immobiliser no anti theft alarm system present . Its best to fit one from outside that has a siren shock sensors etc . I too am thinking of fitting one for my amaze . The only thing that puts me back is they say that the two remotes will have to be used . One is to unlock / lock the car that is the original remote and the other one to secure the car that comes with autocop xenos minda etc..
