Yesterday, I could achieve max fuel efficiency from my Brio. Covered 22kms(city drive) and managed 18kmpl [clap] with SHELL normal petrol.[glasses]

I have a question for members here. How is the drive to Chikmagalur from bangalore? wanted info of road conditions and weather there.

Thanks!!! Cheers

Thanks for the info brother but I have planned to go with corner bumper protectors instead. Have been quoted 1600/- for a set of 4 from the honda dealer here. This will cover the strain and protect its occurance in future too. So felt it was a better option. [:)]
I have installed Corner bumper Protector from Honda , it not much use since most of the scratches come little higher , they are good against small stones and bike riders in city driving .

You can see that scratches come mostly little higher has shown , Protectors are kinda useless , Any way i got it free from Honda

Valid point that about bikers creating scratches above the bumper. But I have mine under the foglamps (which protectors cover up when installed) where there is a deep scratch that has taken the colour off the car. So the normal color sprayers won't work and if they do, then not for too long. And as you very rightly pointed out the common scratchy areas of the car. You can touch it up with the aeroaids kit link posted above by manish. Have heard a lot of good reviews of them They give the exact colour shade of the car.

you take the nelamangala expressway and then divert to bangalore-mangalore highway. The road is V.Good from b'lore to hassan and its ok from there on till chikamagalur

I also feel corner protector will not be of much help.

Regarding spray paint, i feel the finish depends on the person who is doing apart from the product quality. It requires practice and it would be good if we can rope in a local person who is expert in doing spray painting on cars.

I am planning to do it myself, will surely post my feedback after the touch up.

corner protector will surely be more than helpfull when you travel on the ghat sections regularly ,if not daily. Some potholes are very deep on the ghat sections. The front bumper of the Brio is considerably low and can touch the roads if you are at higher speeds incidently on the potholes. Corner guards are worth its mention in such situations. This view is (may be) subjective though. I travel through the ghats around 4 times a year (already twice since we bought the brio, and thankfully didnt scratch the underbody even once. Made it a point to be slow on potholes).

And god forbid, in case your vehicle gets tolled away from the noparking zone, then lower bumper scratches will be present for sure [;)]

As members suggest here, that it could fall, I would have to make sure that I get it taped with original 3M red colored tape.[:)]
Hope it works. I have ordered them now and cant cancel the booking. [glasses]

Do post the pics after installation[:)].

But the dealer is not keeping the stock of basic accessories is frustrating[frustration]. Did you check outside? These accessories are from the after market only and dealers generally have good profit margin in that.
