Why Lancer rims. Tyre up-sized?. It was already 13inch right?
I am planing to change tires, probably up sizing to 13 inches. Planned for A Star rims, is this better?. How much does it costed for the Omni Jack?

New tyres. Nankang N729 165/65R13 Tubeless - ₹ 10,000.00 for set of 4. From The Tire Club. Supposed to get 4 new tubeless valves free, but 2 rims were rusted and they were not confident in removing old ones, so only gave 2 and used the old ones. Alignment and balancing free.

Air Leak:
Air was leaking from the 2 rims with old valves. One was replaced once, still persisted. Paid ₹ 50.00 for that.

Took to our regular guy. He removed the valves, sanded the rims, put new metal valves (which I asked the original installer to fix, but they did not). Issue resolved. ₹ 200.00 for 2 valves and ₹ 100.00 labor.

why lancer rims. Tyre up-sized?. It was already 13inch right?

Time for new tyres. Old rims were not fit for tubeless. Wanted wider rims as 165 was tight fit on 4J rims.

A-Star rims does not look greater. Estilo/F10D Wagon-R/Old K-10 rims are better. For wider rims, there is Baleno rims, but costs double.

Paid ₹ 900.00 for jack.

Classic signs of a dying battery. Amaron died at 4.4 years.

2017-03-05 11-54-35.JPG

For a change wanted to try something different. Saw Hitachi 40B19L at battery shop. ₹ 3,400.00 (MRP ₹ 3,900.00 minus ₹ 500.00 for old battery)

2017-04-11 11-49-54.JPG

Made in Thailand and OEM for Mitsubishi.

2017-04-24 11-54-14.JPG

Maintenance Free.

2017-04-24 11-54-25.JPG

Battery condition.

2017-04-24 11-54-57.JPG

Always put in a paper or cover between battery clamp. This prevents oxidation caused by conduction leak in case electrolytes coming in contact with clamp (and also prevents current leak through clamp). Our clamp was severely oxidized because of this.

New gear knob. Third one in 10 years. This time bought Swift's. This one was significantly heavier than Estilo and Alto K10 knobs. Hope this will last. Costs ₹ 378.00 compared to ₹ 97.00 for Estilo one.

Happens to live around there [;)]

Estilo earlier batch headlights turned yellow even without higher wattage bulb. Ours one is still stock and other is newer, 4-5 years old. Old one is yellow and other is still clear. Been running on 100/90 for some years. Now 60/55 in new one and 100/90 in old. Yellow color makes it dimmer than the other lower wattage one. With new wiring kit and some Bosch 60/55, I see tremendous improvement in lighting.

Did you get the knob from MGP store in killipalam?
I'm too looking for a replacement for my Zen and doesn't want to go with the stock knob.
Got from Swaraj. Don't forget the adaptor.

Bought from there only, was 800 INR then. For 1800, you can get genuine MGP ones, but have to order. Check Kakkasseri, nearby Swaraj.
