Google asking Indian users to change passwords after Chrome 79 bug fix
The recent data breach has alarmed the big media houses and users that their passwords may have been compromised. The warning appears on the affected websites recently after the Google resumed Chrome 79 rollout with a bug fix this week. The exact notification reads as, “Change your password. A data breach on a site or app exposed your password. Chrome recommends changing your password for the site.”
It is advised to the users to change their password immediately if they receive such warning no website. The warning is appearing for the users living in India. A user reported having received the warning pop-up after trying to log into the Freshtohome website, which primarily deals with fresh and chemical-free seafood. Moreover, people from media received such warnings while logging into the portals.
