I have seen one Tigor XZ(O) in the show room which has Auto A/C and Reverse Parking camera with sensor. I wish Tata should have provided these features in the XZA variant also.

As far as Tiago is concerned, XZA is the top variant and cannot understand why they have to keep XZ(O) variant as the top model in Tigor??[frustration]

I think its just to differentiate between the cars and variants to add more features.

Thanks.

I like those 2 important features in XZ (O) i.e Reverse Camera and Auto A/C or climate control. These 2 features are not in XZA. I know the future belongs to AMT/Automatic cars and as such I prefer to buy an advanced car like AMT instead of a Manual car.

However, as I have been reading many expert reviews and ownership reviews and suggestions/recommendations from the present owners of Tigor/Tiago etc., and my understanding is that AMT mostly helpful for a City / Traffic drive and for long drives manual cars will do the job comfortably?

I am not going to drive the car on a daily basis to a particular route or routes (like going to the office and back), as such do I need an AMT. But I still like to have a Car with AMT.

More confusion now[confused]

AMT or automatic is more useful if you have stop and go traffic and very congested traffic jams. If you drive in relatively free traffic zones in city and more in highways manual would do good. In that case suggest you to stick to Tigor XZO or Tiago XZ.
If you consider Tigor XZ vs Tiago XZ price difference might be around 90K
But Tigor XZO vs Tiago XZ it would be 120K . Check local prices.

Thanks your suggestions.

I forgot to mention that XZO also have 5" Harmon Touchscreen.

Tiago is not under consideration now. It will be between Tigor XZA or XZO.!

Nair bro, If you can live without touchscreen & auto AC but want ease of an AMT then go for XZA Tigor.

Akash
Auto A/c & Touchscreen is not a must for me but just preferred. However, reverse parking camera is a must for me (as I have been using this feature in my present car and it became a habit [;)]). Also, I prefer to have it on the HU itself instead of fixing one on the dashboard..[roll]

In that case as the HU of XZA won't have reverse cam so you may buy an aftermarket branded one that can be fixed in IRVM too.

Reverse parking camera on my present car also fixed on the IRVM which is not comfortable especially in daylight. That's the reason I prefer to have it either on the HU or may be on the dashboard.

Bro, then I think you need to check the Reverse cam with best display that can work reasonably good during daytime too because I don't think there is a way for fitting an aftermarket HU in the XZ trim Tigor.

Yes, If I don't choose a car which having the Reverse parking camera feature in the HU, then the only alternative is to find a nice Cam and fix it on Dashboard instead of IRVM. This is the only possibility, if I go for Tigor XZA.[roll]

Since I am not getting any firm news from Tata dealers about possible delivery time of my tigor (I got a reply to my written complaint on 22nd August evening from Tata Customer care advising that they have taken up the issue with their dealer, but no response from the dealer yet), I am now checking other alternatives.

Checking about New Hyundai Xcent SX or SX(O) option. Any opinion about this car?

Generally when Tata Motors reply to your email, they do mention the name and contact number of the territory sales manager of Tata, it's at the end of the email, and one generally overlooks it, also check if there is any email they have cc your query to.

All the best.

Yes, I have seen that, but I did not call the territory sales guy because I prefer they call me instead of me chasing them[roll]
