Crossed 6k on Figo till date. Car is opening a bit and gear shift is becoming smooth.

I am able run 700-725 kms in 40-41 ltr of fuel in City currently. If I taker her to highway with constant speed of 80-90, I will get more than 20 Kmpl.

Thats a good FE for City. Hope you are calculating it with Tank-Tank Method and not DTE.

I am calculating FE with Tank to Tank method. DTE shows around 728-30 kms after refill.
During summer I was getting 14.5-15, primarily due to instant cooling by AC at level 3 and car was new.

I have pulled her upto 130 and its was pretty responsive upto this limit, beyond this, I can't comment.
I am careful as I touched two speed bumps (infamous mall's metal bumps and once at Jamia University where it just steep heap of tar) and both the time 6 people on board (with students)
Otherwise, I have not faced any major issue with GC

My Figo is 12k old on odo and its 11 months old by days

All legal normal Speed breakers and normal indian roads are managable only the odd too high speed breakers laid by public and roads like krishnagiri to thiruvannamalai via chengam are night mares

top speed even at 155 kmph its going with out any struggle but to be on safer side i used to maintain at around 90 to 110 even on empty high way

Indian expressways are also not safe to drive at 150 due to odd crater or stray animal or vendor selling seasonal fruits.
Most of the time I maintain 90-100.
During my last 1000 km trip,I got average FE of 18.2 (tank to tank method) with half the time speed was more than 110+
If driven in the sweetest range, i.e 80-90, Figo will churn out more 20-22 kmpl.

Remember this is no Audi, Merc or BMW SUV with 17-20 inch wheels with side profile less than50 %and 225/50/18 where car has better grip and host of other technologies.

This is good car to drive in city, very easy on highway cruise with 4 people on board, plenty of luggage.
I drove 400+ kms in a day and was absolutely fresh, no fatigue.

Seconding to MSN1+ & Brandoo, I am not a fan of stepping on it... Normal city driving range is 40-50 (you bet?) and highway is 80-100. Nothing beyond is safe on Indian Roads.

However, to answer the question, I have seen videos and clippings where people have touched 175-180 on their own Figos. Not sure how & most importantly WHY? Some have done this even while their ODO was in 3 digits... I always pity them, their car has been totalled by themselves.

Irrespective of the speed, maintaining the RPM between 2K - 2.5K will give anyone a healthy, economical and most importantly pleasurable drive.

Ground Clearance: Unlike many of the fellow Figoians, GC was never been a problem for me. I would have hardly scraped the belly, may be couple of times and that too coz of my mistake. Though I don't see GC as an issue with Figo, right tyre pressure and sedate driving is the key to win the so called GC issue.

Absolutely true. Any car will have problem with GC if driven like maniac.
If we don't trouble or abuse our machine, it will always take care of you in most circumstances.

My last service was at 10,000 kms (2nd service)
before the service i was in thanjavur where i got the engine oil + oil filter + required stuffs changed for 1500

so the second service at bangalore metro ford st.marks road cost me 4500 [which includes filling the wash wiper fluid and under bottom 3M coating which comes with 5 yrs warranty 3m stuff alone costs close to 4200 ]

recently some small stone hit the front wind shield caused nasty crack on it
which i got it replaced under insurance

total cost 8000 where i paid only 1800 rest was paid by insurance company

@ brandoo thats true any car will have problem with GC if driven like maniac, but many of the hatch backs like figo has low ground clearance, which causes GS problem on unpredictable potholes and unusual (abnormal) speed breakers

am maintaining air preasure of 35 and using nitrogen

doing wheel rotation at every 10,000 kms

* wheel rotation = changing each will and move one used wheel to stephney and use the default stephney wheel.

@ Figoian 175 or 180 is not possible on figo as the speed was electronically restricted to below 160
may be those are speed errors.

at most times i used to drive around at 1800 or 2000 rpm getting acceptable mileage. [local 16 to 18 long no lesser than 20 ]

There is a change in ford's service policy for Figo:
At first service i.e. 2500 kms, its general inspection, no fuel filter and oil change. This change in policy was bought two months back.

Having said this, first service does not cost anything, otherwise it used to cost somewhere 1400-1600.

With GC, I second to you, Figo has soft suspension set up, low profile tyre i.e. 175/60/R14 where as other hatches has 165-175 with 70/65 aspect ratio and shorter wheelbase. Longer wheelbase will result in poor GC. Keeping all these factors in mind, one should be careful on speed bumps with Figo.
Nitrogen will help in keeping rubber cool and low friction, this implies better ride and tyre longevity.

Again, I will subscribe your view point that Figo will top out at 160-165and beyond this is just error in Speedo.

Amazing Fuel Efficiency
Yesterday reached Delhi to Jaipur within 3.45hrs in Figo with most of the time speed excess of 120 and occasionally touching 140, After driving more than 350 kms DTE is showing 450 kms.
I believe, if driven in the range of 80-90, figo will give more than 22 kmpl.
I can write on ode on handling of car,very confidence inspiring at 130+, steering is direct, great feedback about road. Though its diesel but I hardly feel engine sound at 100 km/h and very controlled tyre and wind noise.
Once go back to Delhi, I will give complete FE.
