Congrats....Instillation looks neat - great work,

But why the picture in display tilted towards Right Side ? The fence looks straight at the fourth picture via back windshield why not in the HU display ?

Did you install any sensor or just the camera ?
Thanks man.

yes i noticed this after uploading the picture i have corrected just now my friend.

No sensors as of now, planing to get the same from MGP what Petroholic installed from mass. what you think of any choice as i can't get torq Brand sensored cam kit available in online right now.

I searched in net sensors are available from 700 to 3k. thinking whether its really needed.

Don't know much about other company, mine is Nippon RPAS-85 and it's MGP as my Garage is cramped too with very congested location as well the car can only possible to park in the garage in reverse way, so got it installed the day of delivery.

The camera is very big and this is costly i think its 9990 with LCD screen will be provided too.I have enquired in the local accessory shops there are two type of camera + sensor kit one which is mountable in rear view mirror another is windscreen mountable.

As i required only cam so there is no such option combination of camera + sensor sold separately for your requirement. Also the kit will include LCD screen 4.3" for sure.

So decided to go for only camera without sensor as advised a good night vision by Dr MUDHAN who has posted big modification in Honda city.will post the pic in night view clarity and illuminated door sill guard soon by night.

Thanks to Genaral Max who has responded my need and provided the info instantly.[cheers]

Great to know that your problem solved, waiting for your successful project completion . [clap]

One question do you ever need to remove the front bumper ?

My actual intention to upgrade the front fog lamp's bulb ? Do you think LED light will help ?

How about this or waste of money, please share your comment about it

Hi, can you post a pic of your fog lamp at night ? Also like to know as you mentioned it is a Philips H11 bulb, but manual mentioned it as H8 bulb - are both of them same ?

Or did you modified the setup to install H11 bulb in the place of H8 ?

Is your Philips H11 bulb 35 watt or more ? I want to stick up with Stock wattage or less....

I read some DR.Mudhan's article (mainly battery maintenance & voltage monitoring & follow his method every day ),but most of his mentioned product are imported only and here in Kolkata any import is strict no no...so lost interest. [cry]

If I can dismantle front bumper then I can easily access the Fog Lamps.

As i have replace the stock bulbs last year with xtreme vision H4 and H11 total i have spent 3k for that.the wattage is of H11 was 55W these bulbs are really good.Till now no issue lighted up with stock wires no relays added to that.

Not much diff between H8 & H11 same connector used to connect both.

The H8 bulbs are 35 watts with an unimpressive 712 lumen rating. The H11s are 55 watts with a 1250 lumen rating. Initially I was concerned about the wattage difference possibly causing the wiring or the fixtures to over heat.

So I did a very low-tech test of running the lights for 30 minutes and then feeling around the back of one of the fixtures for hot spots. It was warm, but by no means hot. I now feel comfortable running these as I don't believe they will cause any harm to the vehicle.

I don't know about the current wiring kit of Ritz as mine is older one, how about the quality concern in main wiring harness in new one check and proceed.

To upgrade the bulb u need to take the black plastic which cover the fog lamp, as you can see u have access to the bulb without any issue. Also note my car has old fog lamp kit now it has been update with smiley type.

Hi,

Now I'm looking for how to get access the back of the fog lamp - to get so I just did here what mentioned.

Screenshot from 2014-09-13 21:38:18.png

I jacked up the (max possible limit) car one side to get easy access and successfully unscrew those two screw - but the black plastic won't come out. It had two or more screw under wheel arch.

Please let me know, after unscrew those push type screw the smiley like whole fog light assembly will come out or the black plastic which hug the entire bumper from behind will come out ? If later one then it is impossible to do unless the whole front bumper dismantle.

Please guide....

If the smiley like Fog Lamp Assembly need to uninstall - how to do that..

Please guide....

Ok, I re-read the user manual and it clearly mentioned in the point 2

"Open the fender cover"

Isn't that mean the backside of the front fender (a.k.a Bumper) ?

I will check as i have work shop manual with me.But i have old ritz one as i have installed the bulb last year i don't remember how i have installed it, will check by morning and update you with relevant pictures.

Also fender refers to open the bumper assembly as the these lock mentioned hold the bumper too. the front plastic can be remove manually as there is no lock for the cap as this is push type one in my car.

Can you try to remove the cap and update me in the mean time?

After removing those push type screw I'm able to remove the cap Eye like, here is the picture - but didn't able to gain access behind the fog lamp where the bulb connector situated.

Comparing Fog Lamp - Head Lamp bulb access is a far easier.

20140914_105858.jpg

Check Out the blank space towards engine here easily another set of lamp can be mounted just like Polo / Vento, Or good DRL.

20140914_111134.jpg

Spread is far more superior without the black cap - If the cap provided chrome plated then I'm sure spread will be much more efficient. Or the whole place can transfer into a fog light just like 1st gen Santro.

Yes you have remove the bumper to change to the fog lamp as i have installed the fog lamp kit in my LXi i have remove the front assembly and installed the same.

Also while installation itself i have replaced the stock bulbs with H11 bulb's.

For your Info petroholic as per maruti

New Delhi, October 26, 2009: Maruti Suzuki, the largest car manufacturer in the country, today launched the new Ritz with an engine powered by advanced VVT technology. The company has also introduced a 5-speed manual transmission variant of the new Ritz.

The environment friendly new Ritz is amongst the Hatchback segment to be BSIV compliant in the country. BSIV regulations are scheduled to be introduced in the country in April 2010.

The VVT or Variable Valve Timing allows the timing of the intake valve to be changed while the engine is in operation, thereby ensuring that there is never a shortage or wastage of power. This leads to improved engine efficiency, optimized fuel consumption and lesser carbon emissions. With the advanced VVT technology, the car starts, accelerates and climbs steep slopes better. In essence, the technology is an intelligent system leading to a smoother, more luxurious drive and better mileage.
Kannan ,I want to be sure about this .I was also of the same opinion and somebody confused me that VVT is something new. But ,if you check the specifications of the pre 2012 and post 2012 Ritz there is not much of a power difference .The drive terms is also not so different. For Swift ,AFAIK ,there was a revised engine from the 1.3 L engine which was not K series. People think that this is the engine in Ritz, which is not so. After the Ritz came ,this engine was shared with Swift in 2011 with the VVT tag.
My Vehicle is 2010 March one and I am seeing whatever shown in the VVT video in this car too.
Anyway ,the engine is a gem. Had never heard complaining about it.I am also happy with 50000 Km on Odo.
