That ain't possible either. Don't have anyone to swap the car and most importantly, how will I give my car to someone else? [surprise][:D]

nowadays in bangalore F.E of 14.xx is really great, considering the traffic and road conditions
True, but even with 50% AC? I am happy if it's with Full AC.

Anyways, let me watch it for some more time. If works normal in Highway, the Bangalore to be blamed of course.

As suggested by others, give it a thought to sell out your car and buy a new one !! OR settle down with the present car whatever it offers to you, as you have bought it into a good economy zone all ready.

Figoian, there is possibly one thing you can do. Buy a bluetooth OBDII port scanner (direct from ebay.com - Rs.1000-1200) and use torque on your smartphone to check the instant mileage.

Would give you an idea where actually your vehicle is consuming more fuel. Another advantage is that you can use it in your other cars as well.

That's never an option RK. Remember, even you disagreed on it in one of our earlier discussions [;)]

The point is, when we know there is a problem in a product we bought, we should get that fixed from the company. Be it a car or whatever. Why should we leave our hard earned money to someone? Moreover, this kind of attitude (tolerating bad goods or service) and adjusting to the manufacturer should be abandoned. That's what encourages them more to gives us even more worsened service. Just not about my case, or one such incident, but in general, as a customer we should stand against such practices. Just my thought, not to offend anyone.

BTW, last few weeks, I have been a little heavy footed and thinking, maybe that could be a reason too. Should observe for a couple of more tank ups and/or a highway drive to decide further. My warranty will expire by this month, so there are high chances that they may fix the issue (if any) if I report it next month [lol]

So you best figure is around 15.82 which is just 1-1.25 kmpl more than present which you are getting. Which can be achieved by minor driving style changes.[:D]
I too think so. Let me get back to my sedate driving again, at least for this tank fill and see. BTW, want to see the worst ones? Sadly, as you can notice, some of those are mixed with Highway drives and mixed AC usage too.

The mileage figure looks good wrt to Bangalore condition.
Amit - Which ones are you referring to?

I was talking about the figure where you were getting 15+.
But still the current figure not really bad since Bangalore traffic density is increasing daily.May be the road you are travelling is very traffic prone or may be if you are big fan of Vin Diesel and so you are getting little lower FE mark [;)] (in a lighter note).

Amit - That was particular to Anshuman's question on the best ever of mine in Bangalore city. Not applicable in general.

Did you also see the other figures and whole thread? I am sure, you can call me greedy if I would ask for more than 14 in Bangalore [lol] But it wasn't even the case for almost 2 yrs and hence I was fighting back with FASS. After couple of check ups and fixtures, it gotten well for recent couple of months and it's again showing a decline and that was my concern. I would appreciate and strongly recommend you to check all the posts [thumbsup]
