New pictures surface.
Features like compass, clinometer and tilt-meter are first in segment, useful for off-roading enthusiasts. Standard safety features like ABS and dual airbags are on offer. Interiors are carried over from new Punto, design of which is inspired by 2014 Linea. New headlamps, front grille, bumper, ORVM embedded turn indicators, redesigned tail lights (LED) and rear bumper mounted fog lamps are similar in Punto and Avventura.

The look is really awesome, I liked the rear wheel attached design. I think FORD have to start thinking with their ECO-SPORT, a tough competition ahead.

I doubt if this will sell in large numbers like ecosport because structurally and look wise its basically a punto with rear wheel mounted tailgate and some addons in interiors etc. They should have differentiated the avventura and pounto by front and rear looks. Example for not so well selling crossovers are crosspolo and etios cross. That's just my feel.

I agree. As much as I love Fiat products, I see the following trend in sales for the Avventura:

Sep-250
Oct-250
Nov-150
Dec-100
Jan-100
and the rest of the year, struggling to reach 3 digits.
Seriously, what is Fiat thinking ? Are they even interested in the Indian market as a long term player ?

I dont want to see bits and pieces of the car. VW, Tata and Honda have unveiled the whole damned products in their respective spaces. Fiat aint teasing no one like this. Who visits the Fiat website anyway ? Only hardcore enthusiasts. The regular family Joe in India makes his choice at dealerships, in malls and on TV. Especially when he is influenced by his family members who often like/dislike the car based on spur of the moment experiences like sitting inside , look, colour etc. Who cares about dynamics, ride quality ? 90% dont even understand the term.
Which is why the Verna, City sell so so much. Because they are already sold in the minds first.
