@ cartoos: i understand you cannot compare hatches to SUVs buddy but akash has understood my reasoning well. i was comparing the SUV with the hatches "price-wise".
i was initially comparing punto & i20, i just bought the scorpio into picture to show that the punto/i20 & scorpio costs "almost" the same (especially the i20). the scorpio offers more space, better performance, more seating capacity than the i20. so i feel if you are pricing a hatch like this, atleast give it better performance than the SUVs.
regarding driving dynamics, i do agree that the scorpio will never match the punto/i20.
coming to that, i have though about a few pros & cons of having a scorpio v/s punto/i20:
Scorpio v/s punto/i20:
+ better performance
+ better GC
+ ease of entry/exit
+ easy to drive in city because of its size
+ more space
+ rugged & dont mess with me attitude on roads! (ricks & cabs keep a distance!)
+ more comfort
- maintainence costs
- fuel efficiency
- ride & handling
I am not counting the features in the (-) list as even scorpio has its own set of features, so both are equal in it.
wish fiat could offer some shattering performance with the 90 bhp!
