Saw the Punto Sports (not the 90HP Punto) again in Kalyaninagar (Pune) yesterday! Its the same one I saw earlier! Sorry again could not take pics :(
So I am guessing the Punto Sports is still on the cards, funny thing is its not camouflaged in any way.

Agm its not possible because currant prices are more than 6.35 L in Delhi for 1.3 FGT, its 646390.00

Rumors are there that FIAT will still launch Punto Sports with ABARTH kits and all. Also rumors are there that Punto Evo will be launched early next year and it will be sold alongside current Punto.

I say, Fiat will launch 90 HP Punto without price increase, now spread it all around and it becomes a rumor! So, Precisely what I mean to say is that we can not believe those rumors anymore, Let us wait for the official word to be out and after all the launch is only in a couple of days.

Humm..pricing is going to be tough. They can not make it higher than i20 as i20 diesel is already 90 bhp that too with 6 airbags. As Vibhor said, there is a high possibility of 90 bhp model coming with out any price difference. Or they could launch a 90 bhp version with 6 airbags as they do in international market

Also, i20 diesel sale is quite less. The most of the sales of i20 are from 1.2L petrol. So sales of Punto is not going to change drastically.

You are correct. It is priced so high that a normal buyer will naturally feel to buy sedan instead. However, when we compare the features in total, I think there are only two cars to select from: FIAT Grande Punto Emotion Pack & Hyundai i20 Asta.
