15 years! that's a long time. without moving too. the Fiat and Amby had good quality metal to last 15 years.
my grand father had a Chevy (he sometimes used it as taxi) the driver damaged it. in my very young age i have seen it resting and rusting in his ancestral home. how i wish for it now.
you guys are lucky to have good workshops around there. i think i haven't seen a restoration wok in garages around my area for quite a long time. people here are not interested in that much work. they just let the car rust off.
i have seen good gypsy, amby fiat 118NE (one of my fav) Premier Padmini, contessa etc just rotting away on road sides here (even 800s too)

Wonderful effort buddy[clap], why not go for a dual car for this beauty?
Thanks Visran!

My previous car is in two tone color combination, Powder Blue body and white top. So now I want to paint the car in single color i.e. Black.

I saw 2-3 well maintained Black colored cars in Pune, Then only I decided for Black color.

Here is picture of my friend's Mr. Vijay kumar's 1962 Super Select.

This car does look very charming in Black, can't wait to see the outcome of your car.

Why don't you get the brand new inside dial sticker(on the speedometer) done up?

Great work buddy. And this fiat looks very nice, waiting for more updates. It feels more joy to restore old vintage car than the joy of buying new car IMO [:D]

First of all i am very happy to see a fellow Fiatian restoring a piece of automotive history. I am a diehard fan of Fiats especially 1100 Series & have owned quite a few of them, still have a PP S1. [:)]
Anyways you have got a very original car with most of the fittings still in place. The work going on seems top quality.
The refurbished meter looks nice. BTW that 2 way Sipea switch is used as a wiper switch.

PS: Is that cabin light a new part ??

I think somethings are better left original, in this case the speedo back plate which holds more value in its original form.
