Yes.. I felt uncle ish, There is something missing in it. It dint feel sporty and youthful. It's definitely a different vehicle to own, however coolness factor was definitely missing.
I have driven Ertiga also, and it too ticks lot of boxes but again its not sporty and funky. Moreover I don't like to see myself driving a Ertiga kind of vehicles.. I mean MUV's.

P.S: To put my taste in a proper way.. I like Apple like products! Sleek and Sexy!!
And I hope for Ford India, Ecosport will be what Ipod was to Apple!

This exactly what I felt about the duster too it dosent do anything wrong but dosent make you super excited either.
My family is just of 4 so the ertigas value proportion also dosent matter to me .
So me too waiting for the strome ( practically speaking I don't need such big vehicle atall ) ecosport . If ford acts foolishly with the pricing then I will take a hard look and compare the duster with some sedan and might select 1 .
Oh and yes mahindra I heard are bringing a refreshed Scorpio that too is in my list again practically speaking zero use but then there is something else called liking and passion right ?

Ford is planning 80% localization for the ecosport and talks are on with vendors the late might be only concerning quality control and standards which they have set for the ecosport . If not the festive season it will be jan- feb because people then shy away buying cars at the end of the year .
But iam told that promotion will begin around the festive season including displays in malls and other prominent places.

The bookings will be opened only in early-mid 2013 with deliveries starting from mid 2013.
Till then, lets focus on duster & storme.

No you have wrong info the car will be on road much before.

I know some one on very high post in ford India and he told me it will be much before that . And they are trying hard to undercut the duster.
