we cant expect ample space with in a 4 feet car
oncars.in is not biasted may be he was paid by someone else, because he said the stearing is not like fiesta or figo or other ford cars dont he aware the steering unit is directly lifted from fiesta (new) he went further and said some one from ford went to hyundai and handpicked the steering
Yes we cant expect huge space from a 4m car but Ford has done an exceptional job in utilising the space inside for the best possible legroom, shoulder room is tight so its a 4 people go happy car(remember i use word car) its a compact package with SUV style and abilities, sure lot of people wont like it because its 2 sporty to look at,2 rugged at the rear, interior quality wont even match a hyundai car, but if we look at the positives it has more positives than negatives, thats why i think ecosport is a sure shot winner.
1)It will drive better than any other car under 10l Rs in India(maybe except new fiesta, figo,Classic)
2)Ride quality will be superb almost in the VW polo league
3)Cabin insulation is excellent again VW polo league
4)The exhaustive feature list
5)The sportiest petrol engine also most powerful(guys 123 bhp under 10l Rs even the GT polo TSI has 104 bhp so keep an eye on than gem of engine)
6)Rear reclining seats, u wont get that feature in any car under 20l Rs in India
7)The best AC and in car audio system u can get, i have driven Skoda Laura 1.8 TSI sadly its sound system isnt as good as Fords.
8)Regarding the Diesel engine i seriously hope they remap the ECU of Ecosports 1.5 TDCi to make the specs 89 bhp@ 3750 rpm 200NM @1750 rpm unlike Fiestas 2000-2750

This car is a perfect threat to all premium hatchbacks and some small sedans in the 7-10lRs market
Now I read somewhere that the Optional pack is not available for the 1.5ltr AT titanium version. I don't understand what is Ford thinking? The AT with all the goodies of the Optional pack will make a Feature wise COMPLETE variant and many of us here would be happy to buy one. Hope Ford does offer the optional pack for AT variant too.
Yes but i think the price will be too high say it might cost 12l Rs onroad and for 12l Rs a VW Vento or Skoda Rapid Auto is the best car nothing can beat it,also the 1.5 l petrol auto and manual will be a pure failure because with just 1150 kg kerb weight the New fiesta automatic is very sluggish, then how come it perform well in a car that dosent aerodynamically assist it as well as has a kerb weight of around 1256-1290 kg, if some1 has hopes 4 ecosport 1.5l manual or Auto please drop it, its a sure flop, only because its heavily under powered just like Figo petrol
