I booked a Hyundai i20 Asta CRDI two weeks back and I got the VIN today.

Can you please decode the above VIN for me.

Major issue can crop up only during the time of re-sale which will affect the resale value if the new buyer verifies the manufacturing date through VIN.

It would be great if you give proper direction/advise whether to go for one of these cars...

It seems that you have given details for MALAM51CLBM935207 (From previous post from roseline [:)], but MALBB51BLBM stands for I20 Asta not I10, right ?. So the details are OK ? Just little curious........

Apart from this, can one opt for one of these cars ? It seems to be manufactured in August.
