The best thing is both 2nd and 3rd rows benches fall flat. Just take a quilt and 2 can have a good sleep on long rides. Go+ is a good 5 seater with large boot space for long rides and can be a 7 seater for short trips inside the city. And with the pricing, it might appeal as VFM.

Ji, I don't think any adult would be okay with travelling in the 3rd row of the Go+, even for short trips. Given by the images, Shapurji is having a nightmare of hell in the 3rd row.
Maybe KIDS ONLY can fit there.

[cheers] Ha ha i was thinking of days where we used to squeeze 6 people inside maruti 800, in that perspective Go+ fares better...anyways lets see how the market responds. It should pull in decent nos if tagged with a killer price.

If it is priced lower,than it can be used as people carrier in rural areas,ie Tempo Trax,to accommodate more people

Datsun Go plus seen in Pune doing testing rounds for its final stage runs. The vehicle was wearing white camo .The Datsun Go Plus is based on the Datsun Go hatchback and shares plenty of body style at front with the Go.

The GO+ seem to be underpowered with the below specs - No Diesel varaint at launch.

The upcoming MPV from Datsun is powered by 1.2 litre (1,298 cc) 3-cylinder 12-valve (DOHC) petrol engine, capable of producing 68 PS max power @ 5,000 rpm and 104 Nm peak torque @ 4,000 rpm, and delivering (claimed) mileage of 20.62 kmpl. This is the same unit / engine tune offered in Datsun Go hatchback. Both are mated to 5-speed manual transmission. Just like the A-segment hatchback version,Datsun Go+ MPV will not get a diesel variant, at least in the near future.

Datsun has commenced the pre-launch bookings for Go+ in India starting from today. The car is launching on Jan 15, 2015. Our review will be up shortly.

They had a chance to rectify some of the mistakes of the Go. Like give a tyre size upgrade. And a glove box! Come on! How much can they save by omitting that!
Another flop guaranteed.

What I am concerned more about is the fact that after GO hatchback fairing terrible in crash test, I am told and yes confirmed by spec list that GO+ too doesn't have any ABS+ Airbag setup.

From the features & specification list given in an earlier post in this thread, 3 out of the 4 variants doesn't come with power steering [surprise], power windows and 2 lower models not even have Air conditioning!. Datsun originally meant this for 2015 only?. I think their top end model is equivalent to base variant of many of their competitors. ABS and airbags will be too much to expect in this scenario.
