I am planning to have a LED job done on my city (Had been planning for a while though!). I liked Audi's day time LED and want it to be done in my car. How can i do it? Can it be a DIY since this should start working once the engine is turned on.
Moreover, i have seen few cars with the LED strip outside the headlight assembly. I need it inside the assembly. Can this be modified accordingly? Any pro's and con's?
Remember: It needs to be working even on day time.
Any suggestions petrolheads?

Yesterday I saw a Honda Civic during night with white LEDs on the rear number plate area. It was a fantastic idea and looking head turner. After visiting this thread, now I think I should have clicked a picture.

DIY for doing something different with led's
now a days we can see most guys use led led strips under body or in the wheels, i always try different things which other don't do, now i tried to light up the grills upside the bonnet. the result was good but not so good because i tried with a led strip about 5-7 cm at center which was left from my last project. now am going to do take a led strip equal to width of grills. and stick it on engine side wall so it'll give perfect glow.

i did'nt saw any led strip which is not waterproof, i guess the strip which comes in large roll & they cut it according to ur need is not waterproof & u need to solder the power wires to it (i did'nt saw it) the strips comes with wire is waterproof... and fully sealed. and comes in a packing.
