Why don't you get the vin number of your safari and post here , guys on the forum will decode it and tell you exactly what month it is made.

It works out to about 76k worth of savings.

I think that's a pretty good deal. And i don't think it will be a problem if the vehicle is 6 months old since it's a new car not a used one.

And you getting good savings. 11L for a GX is a great deal according to me.

My dear fellow SAFARIAN... Its a honor meeting you.

Technically GX is a very good combination of required features.

ABS on GX is effective avoiding fishtailing breaking at high speeds. Owners of LX and EX will know this pain.

Pearl While is the only color in GX which is single color. All the others are Dual Tone.

The Roof mounted AC is very very effective.

Any specific reason for not waiting for the STORM?

Are you getting the Alloys as standard on GX?

Are you planning to upgrade tyres to a bigger size?

We all are waiting for the day when the Beast meets the Ring-Master to get tammed

Its not that i'm not waiting for the storme, its available where i am. I was offered the Lx for same day delivery when i booked my vehicle. Was offered an urban bronze VX yesterday.
I have a very specific issue which i have often spoken about on the storme thread and also updated on last evening.
Is that issue a deal breaker, yes.
Hence not going in for the storme.

Yes Alloys are standard with the storme, no not going in for tyre upgrade. Should i? Pls do let me know if yes and what complications we foresee should it not be done.

Now I am awaiting pics and a straight-from-heart initial ownership review as well as driving experience.

Waiting for your pictures and poses. Dont forget to take a picture when you are starting the car for the first time. Just want to see your expression that was supressed for 10 years.

Also to talk about the tyres I am very happy about the Stock Duelers that we get and very effective. Since I will be changing the shoes of my car in a short time I had done some research and finally decided that I shall be upgrading to 255 YOKO Geolanders.
They are the best AT tyres. I think only a very small circus has to be done to get these in.

Also I liked the 17" Alloys of ARIA and probably might try to get hands on them.
