Hi Suku, answering tions from experience.
1) Yes, for proper stereo effect and better enjoyment for back seat.
2) Spark comes with pre-defined spaces for the 4 speakers. 2 on the dash board and 2 on either side of the parcel tray (not on the tray but on the plastic sections adjacent to the tray). If you do a little legwork, you will get ones that fit perfectly to the space assigned.
3) Antenna is fixed on top of the inside rear view mirror but externally.
4) No. However if the item being carried is of more height, then you can remove the parcel tray for the time being.

Hope it answers your queries.
Thanks Chayan,
What is the size of the rear speakers? Would you suggest 6*9 oval speakers on a MDF tray instead?

Sdit: Just checked that there is no provision for speakers on the area near the parcel tray. Hence oval speakers mounted on the parcel tray or in boxes is the only option.
Maybe provision is added in the Spark 2008 onwards.

Depends on whether you are a serious audiophile or not. For me the ones (Nippon) fitted by the dealer were good enough but not as good as Alpine or other brands.

On the rear parcel tray speaker issue, are you sure there is no provision? I am not referring to the parcel tray itself but to the plastic ledges on both sides of the parcel tray (just opposite the exterior back-light cluster but internally). Mine was 2008 model but did not come with fitted stereo which I bought separately from the dealer. So I think it should be present in yours too.

No its not.
I am going for 4" components in the front and oval speakers in a box at the rear.
I cant even put a parcel tray as there is no bracket and I will need to get one.

I will have the two boxes removable by disconnecting a clip. That would free up boot space if needed.

I am facing a strange issue from the past few days. There is a squealing sound from the front right wheel whenever I brake hard or take a sharp left turn. The brake pads seem to be ok, and the bearings are also new so I don't think that brakes are the culprit. What could be the possible problem.

I heard this squeaking noise every time I descend an over bridge. (The road surface was rubber coated type)

Check the disc brake calipers. Generally that is what causes the noise among other things.

I think chayan and lucas has done it. Let us wait for their reply. Even I wanted to do.
I have got foglamps in my sparky but the came factory fitted (LT) .however I once enquired about fitting a set of genuine fog lamps in my dad's spark. the ASC quoted approx 5000 rs total (can't remember the exact amount) including installation. the fog lamp harness will draw power from the parking light wires.that is only after turning on the parking lights youll be able to switch on the fog lamps. the service guys showed me some neatly finished switches too for the fog lamps.sorry I didn't click any snaps then.

Thanks for the Info Lucas. Can you pls show us the picture of switches for FOG lamp and do you know how the switches will be in after market fitting.

BTW, Rs. 5k is very costly na. Some where in the thread itself some one has posted that it should be around 3.8k [I do not remember exactly]

Called up Chevy A$$, they quoted 4000/-.
They should cost less if we get it from the wholesale market.
Will check the price in Mumbai and let you know.

Well I din't click any picture of the switches at that time. however they showed me some rocker switches. attaching a similar picture from the net along with the picture of a original fog lamp switch.

Please refer to my post #276 page no 19. I have posted the price tag of one fog lamp bought from the ASC. it was Rs.1773 then. don't now present rate. considering the quoted rate two fog lamps will cost Rs.3546. Then add costs of installation, harness and switch. say, another 1200-1500. So ultimately it'll cost nearly Rs.5000 if you get it done in ASC.

Suku has mentioned he was quoted 4000/-, I think it'll be a great deal if it includes fogamps, wiring harness, switch and installation charges.

From my own experience, a suggestion from my side if you go for aftermarket fog lamps. Please be confirmed that the pair of fog lamp is waterproof. In my previous WagonR I had to replace the set of aftermarket fog-lamps just after a few months as water leaked inside and damaged the reflectors. At that time the entire setup did cost around 2200/-. Then I replaced the old set of fog lamps with a new one. That set me back by another Rs.3800.(Forgot the brand.) Ultimately I had to spent total 6000/- for fog lamps[frustration].
