Thanks for your inspiration 350Z.[:)]

@lucas, superb DIY. Now I know why you asked for de-assembling of sparky steering wheel[;)]
Sethu sir, thank you. BTW, I didn't have to remove the steering cap for this DIY.

Hey Suku, thank you very much for the info. Anyway, its due for Eye testing and change the complete set. Let me try with Titan Eye.

Is this can be done only with Titan Eye or with any optician I can try with?

If possible pls let me know how it works on the following cases

  • Reflection of dash
  • in sun light
  • on coming vehicles head light management
  • Will it get converted into cooling glass mode with headlights of on coming vehicles
  • can it be compared with reading lenses [42+ you know[:D]]

post the pic of you with specs or specs alone[lol]
Sethu sir, sorry for the extremely late response, was really tied up with busy life at home, and sadly at office cant login to TAI.

Yes here are the clarifications that you were looking for.
  • Reflection of dash : yes it cuts 90% of the reflection
  • in sun light : really pleasing in sunlight, i cant imagine driving without them
  • on coming vehicles head light management : no idea, never used them at night, they are quite dark.
  • Will it get converted into cooling glass mode with headlights of on coming vehicles : its more or less likesunglases
  • can it be compared with reading lenses [42+ you know[:D]] : Should be possible, need to check with optician, although, I would recommend it only as driving glasses (replacement for sunglasses), hence the case for reading glasses would not be applicable

Attaching some pics,

I have purchased a pre-loved Chevy Spark PS 2007. As it doesnt come with any music system/speakers, I have the following queries.

  1. Would I need 4 speakers in a car of such a small dimension?
  2. Would only 2 oval speakers / 2 speakers in the front on the dash suffice?
  3. Where is the antenna fixed?
  4. Will installing a parcel tray reduce the boot space even further?

Hi Suku, answering your questions from experience.
1) Yes, for proper stereo effect and better enjoyment for back seat.
2) Spark comes with pre-defined spaces for the 4 speakers. 2 on the dash board and 2 on either side of the parcel tray (not on the tray but on the plastic sections adjacent to the tray). If you do a little legwork, you will get ones that fit perfectly to the space assigned.
3) Antenna is fixed on top of the inside rear view mirror but externally.
4) No. However if the item being carried is of more height, then you can remove the parcel tray for the time being.

Hope it answers your queries.
