The Sedan indeed look's good from rear, where as the Van look's like it's going to be favourite among cabbies.

My views about the car.

* the front looks good. [thumbsup] to that.

* didn't like the rear though. it looks similar to figo's but not better then figo.

* side profile looks quite odd to me.

* good rear leg room [thumbsup]

* inside door handle : i think the position is quite odd and everytime you have to use your elbow to open the door.

* interior looks ok. not that great.

I have seen a couple of giant Chevy cars (I mean MPV type) on Kolar highway a couple of weeks back. They were in the usual white stripes disguise. Today I spotted the Chevy hatchback also in the same white stripes disguise (3of them) on Old airport road, heading towards Command Hospital. Is there still a need for such kind of road tests? anyway the reviews are out already.

A head-on competition with ford figo. The cars looks 'just fine' but a not perfect as figo from side and rear view, interiors also looks better. Hope the car will do better than other models from Chevy.
looks like the boot space is not so good as figo, seats are well perfect, looks like having good support,Hope, the heart under the hood is also as good as its look.

I am seeing car just like Chevy sail in black cloth several times in area around Chandani chowk, Bavdhan.

General Motors will launch the Chevrolet Sail U-VA on the 25th of October 2012

The Chevrolet Sail U-VA is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine which produces 85 BHP of power, while the 1.3-litre diesel produces 77 BHP of power. Both these engines will be very frugal and are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The vehicle has very good space and excellent ride quality, which will appeal to buyers looking for a practical hatchback. The Chevrolet Sail U-VA will be offered in 4 variants – PS, LS, LT and LT (O). The top-end variant will be loaded with alloy wheels, ABS and airbags.

The car doesn't look that exciting to me.But the introduction of diesel unit will surely drive home some volumes for chevy as some customers might try their luck on Sail after being frustrated of long waiting period for Swift.

Tricky situation for Chevy. The car doesn't look too exciting (although there is nothing in it to hate). It is surely a segment above the Beat and has to be priced higher. That might take the SAIL dangerously close to the i20 prices. Given i20's strong positioning and style quotient, it will be difficult for Chevy to get numbers with similar pricing.
