nicepankaj, thankyou. But still somewhere it pains on missing linea

Music_Swift thankyou, yes its RK Beach

swadeshpande thankyou, they are custom stitched art leather seats not chevys. the company covers dont hug the seats properly (we put them on and removed them).
"My car completed 1000 km recently and I'm quite happy with the performance except for a small problem - there was a squeaky sound coming from one door panel and a minor glass rattle noise coming on uneven road. I got the squeaky sound fixed in the first service (though it required little follow up as the servicing guys couldn't figure out the origin of the sound) but the glass rattle still persists. Though it is very minor sound, I'm little surprised that it came up so early in the life cycle."

"I also noticed that the suspension of the car makes a squeaky sound while going over a hump (audible only in silent environment when the window is rolled down). The servicing guy says this is 'normal'. But I never heard such sound in my Santro. Do you also hear such sound in your car as well" [/QUOTE]
this suspension hump can be heard even in swift dzire, rapid. its ok don't worry.
i would like to know if you own an LS ABS or LT ABS as i can see the blackend B pillar and fog lights on your car but the titile says LS ABS?
Thankyou Shiva and same to you.Your review is good. Mine is LS ABS we got foglamps fixed at the time of delivery and so also got pillars blacked by the showroom guys. Also did you buy the car in vizag, your T/R no says AP31 UW. pics look good.

Thankyou jihu.

Welcome to TAI
Sail Chinese version steering wheel looks far better than the Indian version.
Do post the ownership review.
Hi sir,
I install the chevrolet logo and the chrome accessory on the steering wheel by myself. The original wheel was the same as the India version.BTW, the Chinese version wasn't as much better as the India version.

@chevroletsail

Welcome to TAI. The interior shade and set up on the Chinese variant does look different from the Indian one. Is it a petrol(gasoline) or diesel car? What are the specs on the engine?
Thank you!

Yes,the Chinese sedan version's interior was milk white and gray and since Dec 2013,some version changed the interior into black and red, which does look different from the Indian's one.
The Chinese Cheverolet Sail(sedan) in general has 2 version, the 1.2l petrol one and 1.4l petrol one, which has both 5 block manual version and automatic version. The Chinese official test said the fuel efficiency of the 1.2l petrol MT version was 5.70L/100km,means 17.54kmpl,and the 1.4l petrol MT version was 17kmpl.But the car owner test was average 14kmpl for the 1.2l MT version and 14.3kmpl for the 1.4l MT version.Compared to the same engine of Chinese and Indian version, the 1.2l petrol one has nearly the same specs, the Chinese engine has 4 Cylinder counts, the volume is 1206,the Max.Power (PS@rpm)is 87 PS @ 6000 rpm,the Max. Torque (NM@rpm)is 115 NM @ 4000 rpm,the Fuel Efficiency (Km/l)is 17.8 average(22 at 90km/h) and the Fuel Tank Capacity (l)is 42,compared to the Indian version has 4 Cylinder counts, the volume is 1199,the Max.Power (PS@rpm)is 86 PS @ 6000 rpm,the Max. Torque (NM@rpm)is 113 NM @ 5000 rpm,the Fuel Efficiency (Km/l)is 18.2 and the Fuel Tank Capacity (l)is 42.

Welcome onboard buddy. I am eagerly waiting for more updates about your car to see how different it is from the Indian version.
My work place was in a small county in Shandong province, and my sail was white,1.2l petrol version, nearly the same as the Indian version but didn't has the chrome grille face-lift(it was beautiful),the led mirror, the Bluetooth audio, the backyard armrest, etc. I can upload tommorow.
I can show you the 1.4l petrol one of my colleague's new blue one ,this color was pushed to the market recently.

By the way,the top version of 1.4l petrol in China has automatic skylight.

And the Chinese sail sedan's official price was from RS575086 to RS754179(I changed it to Indian currency),and the quote of retailer's price is about from RS 521359 to RS674582. By the way,all the price include a 17% VAT, and we have to pay another 10% vehicle purchase tax to the country(maybe Indian people didn't have to pay it),and about 10% insurances etc.
