M&M domestic sales up 63 pc in May to 27,036 units
Total sales of M&M utility vehicles, including Scorpio, Xylo, Bolero and Pick-Ups, stood at 18,940 units against sales of 12,620 units in May, 2009, a jump of 50.08 per cent, it added.

Sales of the Logan sedan from Mahindra Renault Pvt Ltd went up by 5.39 per cent to 450 units during the month, compared to 427 units in the same month a year ago.


Toyota Kirloskar May sales jump 54 pc
Carmaker Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Tuesday reported 54.18 per cent jump in sales at 6,050 units for May.

The company had sold 3,924 units in the corresponding month last year, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) said in a statement.


Mercedes-Benz announced its sales performance for May 2010. The company sold a total of 410 units in May thus taking the cumulative total from Jan-May 2010 to 2013 units.

Fiat India Automobiles reported a significant sales growth of 82.2% for the month of May 2010 compared with the corresponding period of the last year. Sales including exports stood at 2,235 units against 1,277 units in May 2009.
Cumulative sales for the year (including exports) increased by 69.2% to 4,257 units.

@ Ichimaru Verna must be selling 2k units every month only because of its diesel sibling which has a good powerful and refined engine coupled with good FE , though lacks some basic features.

Honda sales have gone down as compared to May 2009.About 10 odd unIts actually.But all companies are reporting a positive growth right?
I'll find you the exact no's but city sold some 3000 odd units Jazz 200 odd units accord was at 173 I think, Civic at 535 & CR-v at 35.

Ford India posts over three-fold jump in May sales

Ford India on Tuesday reported an over three-fold jump in sales during the month of May to 8,080 units on the back of a good response for its latest small car, Figo.

The company sold 2,168 units during the same month last year, Ford India said in a statement.

Figo already has over 20,000 bookings in the last two-and-a-half months. The company now plans to start a second production shift at its Chennai facility from July to meet demand for the hatchback, it added.

I though Elantra has been discontinued but anyways, some how Hyundai still managed to sell its at least 1 unit. (Lol) And Tuscan has now totally came to the end of its life-cycle.

I am waiting to see the break up for fiat. From what I have heard Fiat has some stock of palio stile. read somewhere MJD @ 3.99! some people have bought it as far as i know.
