It is personal choice, and no few other styles of alloys appeal to me.
If I like, I might even fit it with a rear spoiler.

The competition has now narrowed down to: Jazz Base Vs. i20 Asta(O).

I love both of them equally. Something tells me my parents may go in for the i20 finally, as I asked them to decide for me, and during y'day's TD, they were not really by the Jazz.

@ arkin

Did you go to TD the Jazz?

What was the experience like?

What did your parents think of the car?

Yes, we did. The experience was great, at least for me. My dad felt the pick - up was not very good compared to our i10. Overall, my parents were not too impressed, except for the space. We might TD the i20 again (we'd TDed it a long time back) and then TD the Jazz.
The balances are tipping towards the i20 as it has oodles of features and max. safety at the lowest price. Anyway, let's see. We will decide in another one or 2 weeks.

EDIT: Mom says she might change her mind after checking out the i20. (Only me and dad checked it out)

Wise going in for an i20 instead of Jazz. It has several features to justify its price tag and a Hyundai is cheaper to maintain than a Honda.

Jazz is also a great car , good space , good performance but slightly over-priced and it has lost the competition to i20 long back!

The main + points of the i20, according to dad are:
1. Max. Safety, and more features than we can ask for.
2. Pocket-friendly! (I've been emptying his pocket lately for scale models!!!)

I agree too. Simple formula.
I've always wanted a car with a sunroof, and my dream might come true at last! [:-D]

For i20 Asta its 15 days in Chennai. For Asta(O) it must be a month , if you are lucky enough you can get the car sooner. Anyways enquire with the dealer for exact details.

Sure! Thanks. I wouldn't mind waiting a few days extra for more safety + a sunroof.
By anychance, just like the new i10, will there be a new i20 in the near future?

Future definitely yes but not anytime soon AFAIK. No rumours also floating around about any possible facelift , so no worries on that part. And by seeing Hyundai's tradition even if a facelift comes except only minor cosmetic changes , technically everything will remain the same.

Please read my post in the revamped i10 thread. There are a handful of new features as well.

Anyway, white Gen1 i10 + white Gen 1 i20 combo will be nice!

Guys, guess what. Next month, along with a ~ 7 lakh petrol car, we will be getting a ~7 lakh diesel car too!!!!

The i20/Jazz will replace our Maruti 800
A Fiesta Tdci/DZire VDi will replace our Indigo!!!
