When did you booked your "ES Titanium Diesel (O) Chill metallic" that is to be delivered next month?

Actually i also booked ES Titanium Diesel (O) White on 19th July 2013 in rajshree ford coimbatore, SA is saying that i will get my vehicle only by January End of 2014 .
Really i am getting frustrated by the long waiting period.

OK, Just a status update for the record, I did opt for cancellation of my Ecosport booking and today I received my refund, full 50K, no cancellation charges, so at the end Ford did nice thing

Mods, if possible please remove my name from booked list.

I have booked same variant on day of launch and been given Dec'13 delivery date. One bright spot for you is that you might get a 2014 model.

Other automakers are surely going to leak info in Dec'13 about their launches as buildup for 2014 auto show. So you will have much more choices

Thanks for Information Boapana , actually i am also thinking about changing the car by cancelling the Ecosport[thinking].
It is very frustrating for me where there is no official information given by ford about their production status and delivery schedule which in turn will be very helpful for people like us.

Hi Satheesh,

The expected delivery date is quite late. If you wait for ES, then surely don't agree on the 2013 model as Ford might try to pass you on a 2013 manufactured model in 2014.

Meanwhile, you could have a look at the new City coming on 25th Nov,2013!!

My booked date for ES, the same Launching day.
but I received Vehicle from Rajshree ford on 20th Sep 2013.
The headlight is poor, otherwise vehicle is Amazing.

Use Philips X-treme vision bulb, no modification required and it is of same wattage specification

Am using it driven around 3000 kms, its not awesome but does its job well at remote dark road or city junctions or streets

Please suggest insurance for ES - Shall I take from Royal Sundaram or HDFC.

Why there is a difference of 10,000. I guess might be due to the fact that HDFC only provides limited number of claims?

Are you following up with the dealer regularly?What is the time they are now saying to deliver your car?

With the launch of Terrano and the new city coming in,there have been a few cancellations and hence waiting has come down considerably.

We took HDFC for the first time and has no experience on Royal sundram.I think you should be good with HDFC zero dep cover.

Please get info on the number of claims allowed in an year in HDFC.

I will check on e-bay.

I enquired few car-accesory shops nearby my home and found the price of EV's to be 1200/-.I found them a bit on the expensive side, and hence looking for some authorised dealer, but was unable to find one.I am not able to figure out how Philips is distributing their car-lightning products.

Please PM me any links you have from where you purchased them and the price.It would be of help.
