Booking Date: 27 June
Variant with color: 1.5 Diesel Titanium(o) Chill Metallic
Booking Number: 151 [now dealer says 157 so fighting with the dealer]
Expected Delivery/Delivered Date: while booking promised delivery by aug end or sept and in writen they mentioned 4 to 6 months (now they are telling 6 to 8 months, so again taken it to ford and involving in a call on every alternate day)
Booking City with Dealer: Bangalore, Metro Ford, St.Marks road
Insurance with price: gona take it from out side mostly royal sundaram at around 21 k B to B

Other Info: will let all know once the dealer / ford confusion gets concluded

if they sold 30 cars till date my booking / waiting number supposed to come down to 121 but the dealer is telling 157
while booking total vehicles booked allover india was 4500 now its 40k + even though dealer says my booking info was yet to get updated on ford database... so fighting/Arguing with them in professional manner [not using abusive language].. will let all know the outcome

I was quoted initial wait period of around 4 months, then during subsequent discussions, i was communicated to 3 moths (Sept end). And I strongly feel it should be somewhere within September first half.
I had got no written commitment and has not idea if my booking reached to ford or not. Till now I was following informally. But next week I want to make it formal so that they can not backtrack.
In my case they know insurance will be from outside, so they may put me low on priority.

Also I was not communicated any booking number, but I inferred from Booking slip.

How come they changed your Booking number? Don;t you have the same mentioned on your Booking slip? Are they refusing to consider what is written on slip as official booking number?

Iam new to this forum.I have booked Titanium+ on 22 June at Rajshree Ford,
No idea about delivery date. While booking they said maximum 40 days.But now
they say it would take another 2 months

Thanks for your quick turnaround reply to my email even during your
weekend off days,
even am in to management professional and well aware of the pain and
stress involved in handling the sudden unexpected pressure,

if you ask me to rate the dealer metro ford and ford company in terms
of trustworthiness, i would rate both of them equally as best, because
i would always appreciate the way ford and metroford's workmanship and
handling the issues on my figo, and in one word its " outstanding"

and the members in metorford hessarghatta service knows me well for
supporting them over a spat between bajaj alliance insurance claim
officer and dealer service department on email, where bajaj denied to
replace the door part stating service engineer caused further damage
by opening and closing the damaged door in a bad way, where as a
customer i never visited the hessarghatta service center but in my
mail i have told them clearly that i trust the metro ford service
engineers as they are all well trained by ford and they are the one
who knows better on how to remove the door properly, one who knows how
to remove the door doesn't neet to break open it.

here am not blaming subramanya or anybody, because am well experienced
in management field and my sense says their is a big communication
gap (better calling it as barrier) between dealers and ford when it
comes to sales department followup's, due to which the customer
(layman like me) feels ford is blaming on dealer and dealer is blaming
on ford.

requesting you to kindly sort out the difference (if any) before
customer goes out with dissatisfaction before buying the product.

In reference to our mail communication i have spoke to subramanya on
25th july @ 2:40 pm, and due to the outcome of the conversation i have
mailed you on 26th july.


during my phone conversation with subramanya, he updated me with below
details, thus calling him again doesn't makes any difference as i felt
he doesn't have anymore updates for me hence am writing this mail

* as of 25th july my booking / waiting list number is 157 (kindly note
at the time of booking it was written as 151)
* and he also informed their is a huge demand for diesel titanium
option model and my booking was not yet updated or registered or added
to ford list as it will be done one month prior to the delivery time.
* told me that it will take 6 to 8 months for delivery [but while
booking they informed in written that i will get my car in 4 to 6
months]

thats the reason am asking below questions

  • in any given scenario waiting list / booking number wont increase from
    151 to 157 [example if my token number is 151 there are 150 people
    standing before me, and if the dealer delivered 30 vehicles till date
    my waiting list number supposed to be 121 and not 157, thus i felt
    dealer or some one made 36 members booked after me was been put before
    my booking in the queue thus i was pushed back to 157
  • on 27th june while booking i was informed that total booking all over
    india is not more than 4500, and now after touching 40,000+ bookings
    also am not yet updated or registered or added to ford delivery list
  • even from dealers point of view, am the 151st customer and they booked
    above 1000+ bookings now even though the 151st customer haven't got
    the all India waiting list number.

requesting you to kindly read my previous and current mail and please
ensure some one either by phone or mail update me on the actual status
and do ensure my booking was in safer hands and handled well

Other Info: The General Manager committed that it will get billed by this Tuesday from Ford and would be dispatched from Chennai by Wednesday. 5-6 days delivery time. Add another 5 days of registration time

Their should be a number in your booking / advance paid receipt. and thats your booking number

Hold your dealer and obtain the number
