thanks sam threeace and anil for your comments.. I have upgraded the tyres as soon as i bought the car (details earlier in this thread).
coming to caring for a black car. I keep in mind few things.
1. I always wash my car myself ( no servant, no car wash for my car)
2. no dry wiping or dusting the car. It either gets a full water wash or stays dirty.
3. I use carnauba wax every 3 months.
4.I use two buckets, 1 car wash sponge, 1 synthetic chamois, 3 microfibre clothes, for washing and also a flask cleaning brush to clean in between alloy wheels
5. i blow dry the nooks and corners of the car with a vacuum cleaner in blower mode (FORBES)

Cool . Thats some procedure to keep the car clean and new. MAy be i can try this for my new BRIO.

and thats the reason for puppy shining always like a puppy labra

thanks threeace.. the wax basically gives the paint the depth and and 'wet look' to the car. hides some of the very superficial scratches but i am afraid it doesnt remove any of the deeper ones.
you will need to was your car often if you want to protect the paint from fading.
polishing with a silica based rubbing compound will remove some of the superficial scratches.

hello Eyedocsri, may i know the model name of your Evo alloy ? im planning to buy alloy for my k10.

the alloys are evo. 13 inch. I paid 12.5k for 5 alloys. tyres are 165/60 R13. potenza G3.
INd plates rs 900.
door sil plates from ebay for about 1000.

Black puppy at 19 months and nearly 15000kms

Hi,
my black puppy finished 15000 blissful kilometers this weekend.
here are few snaps on Hassan Bangalore road..
i havent blanked the number plates so that next time you see me on bangalore roads pl flash your headlights thrice and ill know you are one of us
Now back to the car,
The good:

1.The engine has settled down and become very smooth.
2. Got whopping milage of 20.8kmpl with Ac on and average speed of 100kmph on my recent trip!!
3. The struggle to keep the black car clean continues. I haven't given up... yet!
4. totally trouble free no rattles nothing falling off.

The not-so good:
1.squeaking noise while operating the rear passenger door- needs some greasing.
2. the original seat covers get very dirty and considering putting art leather seat covers- budget rs 10,000-suggestions welcome.
3. The Ac makes a hissing noise when switched on and then operates fine.
