Got it for 200 bucks. I hope it will last a little longer than the air vent perfumes.

Ambi Pur is out of the question then. Go for bottle type perfumes (Like the one pictured above).

You got the best deal. Ambi pur AC vent type is definitely out of question. But AP set and fresh can be used without an AC

This one https://www.aaramshop.com/product-d...sheners/ambi-pur-lavender-vanilla-set-refresh

Just ordered this Areon freshener from ebay.in.

Desire is the best fragrance of all Areon fragrances. And i have read it here on TAI that it lasts longer than MY Shaldan.

It looks quite similar to MyShaldan. What fragrance is it?

Drive Safe,

Fragrance name is Desire as written on can in pic.

Godrej Enters the Air Care Category with 'Aer'

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL), India’s leading FMCG Company, today announced its independent foray into the air care category. ‘aer’, a premium air care innovation for cars and homes will be available across major cities in the country. After maintaining a leadership position in the household insecticide and hair colour category, the company will now strengthen its home care portfolio with the launch of ‘aer’. Positioned as a delightful and quirky brand, aer aims to bring alive consumer experiences to enhance their personal space, either at home or in the car.
The company mentioned `aer’ brand philosophy was that it is not a spelling mistake. it’s a twist: can we make 'air' delightful and see you smile?. The company stated that aer will be available in three variants – Cool surf blue, Petal crush pink and Fresh lush green. These variants are a blend of sweet-scented essential oils and fragrant solvents resulting in a refreshing experience. The product is a combination of high functionality and break out aesthetics which is bound to provide a mesmerizing experience for consumers.

Announcing the launch of aer, Nisaba Godrej, President Human Capital and Innovation, Godrej Group said, "aer is not a spelling mistake. aer is a range of designful and delightful air care products with simple, intuitive, functional delights – an experience we believe people would love."

In the car freshner segment, aer car fresheners will be available in two formats - dashboard perfume and diffuser. Consumers can place the car perfume bottle on the dashboard or in the cupholder. The diffuser fits easily into the car blower or AC Vent with an on and off button. This button allows consumers to adjust the fragrance according to their individual preference. In the home care segment, aer will be available in an aerosol format. The diffuser will be priced at Rs 225 with a trial offer, the dashboard perfume at Rs 299 and the aerosol can at Rs 110. Also speaking on the launch, Sunil Kataria, EVP, Marketing & Sales, GCPL, said, “Air care is an exciting category which has been witnessing growth in excess of 20 percent per annum. The growth in the air care category has been driven by an increasing consciousness amongst consumers to enhance their lifestyle and personal image. aer is an outcome of intense market research, consumer insights and design led innovation. We are confident that consumers will lap up the aer experience.”

aer will be launched with an extensive 360 degree communication campaign, beginning with a delightful new television commercial. In addition, aer will also be supported by an innovative digital media promotion and on ground consumer initiatives.

Actually from 2008 from my m800 days I use only ambypure. couple of times i had tried some other but was not happy with it.

I some how like poppy. when ever a ride crosses us which has poppy we can smell the fragrance arround us. I tried once, but unfortunatly it has become fake and was not good. the orignal cost around Rs.500 but the one i got was around Rs.200.

And whenever we go out, mostly my wife will make sure to have jasmine flowers [ tied together ] in the IVRM. it used to have pleasant smell till that ride is completed.

And one more thing i would like to share when we talk about ambipure.

I had music system in the m800 below the dash board in an additional panale. one day my son unknowingly put the ambi pure upside down. and all the liquied fell down on music system and that is it. all the buttons, plastic joins got melted and sticked with each other. for some time i was not able to use it. then i had to replace it.

So pls be carefull while using the ambipure or for that matter any perfume in car.

Friends,

I do something different here in my car !!

Instead of any market bought perfumes, I used the "aarti karpoor" I do not know what you call it in English.

I buy them from local shops which comes in a big size tablets for aarti, keep that in a tiny small box of plastic and all holes to that. This really works very well keeping the inside of car with good smell and also kills small insects like mosquito and others

When they get vapourized replace the tablet sized karpoor in that[:)]

I have been using Godrej Aer since past month and i must admit that it is a nice change expecially since i had been using Ambipur before. Hwoever, i need to replace the diffuser, since its cap gave way due to jerks that happened on the bad roads. Overall, it is a nice perfume to use, however, if one wants freshness in the car, nothing comes close to Gels!
