Re: Which car perfume?

Sorry for the negative remark.. Peopleee.. have you seen your AC tube cleaned after continues usage of perfume for an year? You get some sortta yellowish brown sticky thing from the tubes.. Yukk..! better avoid using perfumes.

A small tip for those who can't avoid perfumes. Use some "after smoke" kind of perfume. They always smell nice :)

Re: Which car perfume?

This idea struck in mind while on shopping perfume.
The saleslady gave me coffee beans to breathe in and told that it will wipe out the fragrance of previously tested perfume and you will get exact feel about the new perfume.
What I did is borrowed a nylon bag which generally used for packing of articles and steal few beans from office café coffee day machine .Hung this bag behind the rear view mirror.
Its working [drive]
Car never gave me bad smell. Car doesn’t smell like coffee but it worked as deodorizer in my car.
If anyone wants give a try make sure that you change the beans at least twice a month.

Just bought MyShaldan for Rs.200. It's the squash (lime) fragrance. AmbiPur wasn't available, otherwise I would still stick to it.

If Ambipur perfume leaks and get over the dash it will melt the plastic parts. So it is better not to use the Ambipur. There are several instances available where it spoils the plastic part of the dashboard. As I'm not a chemist I can not explain the reasons behind it. So it is better to use gel type perfumes in the car, which will last for about three - four months. Original 'My Shaldon' is definitely a good one.

Just bought a new Ambipur kit after using Poppy for a few months. Must say Ambipur beats all when it comes to perfumes.

Was using Ambipur for quite some time. Yesterday after hearing good reviews, I bought My Shaldan (lemon) for Rs. 212/- & I am very happy. The fragrance is great & seems better than Ambipur.

Ambipur works only when AC is working. So you are not greeted with a nice aroma when you just enter your car, unlike Shaldan. Also, the risk of damaging the dash is there with Ambipur.

Disadvantage of Shaldan is that it utilizes one cupholder. I dont like keeping things on the dash. Secondly, if i stick it to the dash, because of the sun rays, it would dry up faster.

Beware of fake products.

There are two different variants of lime fragrance in MyShaldan. Which one you people are using?

Exactly correct.

The perfume which Ford has offered me smells so much like alcohol. I don’t remember its name though.

Disadvantage of Shaldan (I am talking about the lemon flavor)., it melts due to hot.
I had a poor experience with MyShaldan. Its fragrance wasn’t really nice and not effective either.
