Yeah, I am still using the BL squash, the second one. It does smell nice but the fragrance is mild. For those whoa re a fan of intense fragrance, stay away. Those who love to have just a mild freshness in their car, BL squash is the way to go!
How much did you got them for akash, brought it locally from the accessory store or online purchase, inputs please?

I’m using Areon Wish right now and quite satisfied with. My next target is Black Label. How much you bought it for and from where? Is it small enough to fit on the space next to 12V socket in Fiesta? I’m not willing to compromise on dashboard or cupholders space with these perfumes.

I have an opposite experience. Shopping online from reputed websites normally assures of 100% genuine product but the chance of bargaining is next to none.

Here is the link to one such thread: http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/f...857-online-automotive-accessories-stores.html. Please feel free to contribute in it.

Vibhor, it is about a cube of 3.5" and can be easily acomodated anywhere. I got it off eBay for 430(pack of 2).

Absolutely, every time I open my car post long parking periods, it smells fresh with no smell of dampness even in this rainy season. [:D]

Somehow, I am allergic to these Air Fresheners, don't know why! I had one Liquid Air Freshener (AC Vent Type), maybe 2 years ago. Though I don't remember the brand, the fragrance was awesome. However, I started developing some allergy, some sort of Boil/Swell inside the nose and it was pretty painful when touched, even from outside. I didn't realize that it was because of the Air Freshener as our office moved to a new building, which was just painted. I was thinking those new paint fumes that triggered such an allergy. While I was on vacation for a week, that Swell disappeared, so I was quite fixed that the office was the reason, without realizing I was away from my car too. (Don't we blame our office / work for all our problems in the life? [lol])

Somehow, I got to throw that Perfume Bottle away as it was broken and unable to fix it in the AC Vent. Few days later, the Boil/Swell in the nose vanished again, but I am continued to be in the same office. That made me to realize that I was allergic to that Perfume and not with these paint fumes. Or maybe, the fumes have faded?

Again, recently I got tempted to buy Ambipur and within a couple of days, I got the same allergy again, in the same spot. That made the point clear that, I can't live with them.

Yesterday, after a lot of contemplation, bought My Shaldan - Squash! Honestly, I am not so very satisfied with the fragrance and found it to be quite strong. Hope it may subside in few days. Not sure whether will be allergic to this too [anger] Will have to wait and watch!

BTW, anyone had such allergies or remedies to it? Appreciate any valuable inputs.

I also got the same from Chevy team with new purchase of my Beat. However i won't recommend it either. The tin finished off within a month time & I never got to know how it smells.

Dear Figoian
Yes, a few percentage of people are prone for fragrance allergies or perfume intolerance and you may be one of that idiosyncrasy- as we refer in medicine, an abnormal reaction of an individual to specific foods, drugs or other agents.
As millions of bacteria, we say opportunists, are harboring on our body and any nasal irritation would lead to boil because of invasion of such bacteria. Generally such intolerance leads to eye / nasal irritation, running nose (natural defense mechanism to wash out the germs getting in), sometimes headache & skin rashes.
The best treatment is not by anti-allergic drugs, but better to avoid the causative agent itself, the chemicals.
This is what happened to you with Ambi Pur, such reactions have already indicated by other forum members.
Regarding MyShaldan, if you don’t accept the fragrance or get allergy, better avoid it.
Otherwise, you can take it out & keep in other place in home or office where you don’t sit more time.
If only the fragrance is strong, that’s not an issue at all. You can better wrap with aluminum foil. Make some holes on it to control fragrance and continue. It would be mild. Even there is a mild version of MS also available i.e., MyShaldan Neo.
Or, you can’t avoid exploring some other brands.
There is one more option:
Bamboo Charcoal Activated Carbon Air Freshener Odor Deodorant for Car Home
Honestly, I have not tried. If anybody tried this, let them share their experience.

The product Feature:
This carbon package put in the car, can purify the air, adsorption air conditioning put in next to the computer can play the effect of radiation.
Remove the odor, humidity, mites and antibacterial effect of reducing the source of asthma or nose allergy.
Emit far infrared rays, negative ions, by quick blood circulation, promote metabolism, and increase the air of negative ions and activated cells, and beneficial to human health.

Woww... that's a brilliant medicative advice from a Dr. Thanks a lot for clarifying the points from a SME perspective. As a matter of fact, I generally get all reactions you have mentioned, not just with that perfumes, but maybe otherwise too. It's an idiosyncrasy [lol]

I think, it's getting milder by time. In the couple of days, it isn't as strong as it was on the day 1.

I had a similar discussion on Facebook Figo Owner's Page too. Some of them are complaining the Gel Based Perfumes are killing the AC Coil in few instances. One owner mentioned that his Uncle Swift's AC Coil gave up and the MASS mentioned the Gel Based Perfume to be the culprit. Similarly, another Figo owner's AC Coil gave up and the FASS guys showed him the gel deposits in the coil. Few other owners are debating that it's not that much possible or may take years together with some cheap fresheners to happen so. Not sure what is right!

BTW, ASS guys may try to find an excuse in anyway. This isn't an exception.

Which Car Perfume do you use?

I have used Ambipure which is hooked into the A/C grill inside cabin till date. Also, I have tried to use on-dashborad perfumes many times but found them as not effective. Now, Godrej has come up with an on-dashboard perfume which I heard to be effective. Also, Ambipure leakage has affected plastic parts near my A/C grill. Godrej ad says no leakage since it's semi-solid gel. Yours thoughts please!
