Is a mini review enough?
When compared to the Bolero, the Sumo is more spacious, it's ride is more planted, engine is more refined and powerful. Ingress and egress in the Bolero is a pain, ride is stiffer and sitting in the middle row is a crime.
Where the Bolero scores is build quality. Somehow it feels more tightly screwed than the Sumo. Also, it feels more abuse friendly than the Sumo. The Bolero rolls a lot lesser than the Sumo in corners too. AC of the Bolero felt better too.
Steering feel of both vehicle is pathetic to say the least. Both are ergonomic disasters. The way the steering is positioned in the Sumo, you can never be comfortable. In the bolero, you sit so close to the windshield, that the steering is on your chest!
Overall, if you dont mind the boxy looks and if you can spend about 30-40k more than the Bolero, the Sumo GOLD is a much better vehicle and makes more sense to buy than the Bolero.
