My baby boy is 3 years old. Still healthy at 49k km. No hiccupps or break downs till date. Engine and clutch still untouched. Butter smooth.
Mileage - 42-52, average 45 kmpl.

Updating the missed replacements and additions.
Bike now 3 year 8 months old and close to 60k km.
Spares/Consumables so far
Accelerator cable - 2nd
Air filter - 5th
Battery - 3rd, now Amaron MF 5Ah
Brake fluid - Replaced once.
Brake pad - 3rd (Cheap and long lasting). Costs around 130 only and average life 25k km.
Chain Sprocket set - Currently reaching end of life of 2nd set. Average chain life 25-30k km with proper care.
Clutch cable - 2nd.
Clutch plate - Factory fitted one recently changed.
Clutch return spring - 3rd. Only trouble faced with the bike. Cheap part, but broken twice. Latest one still holding on, but is stiffer and harder.
Decarbed once.
25th liter of engine oil. Now using only Motul 5100 15w50 (supplied by @vishnu vichu). Uses Yamalube SS 15W50 when changed by SVC once in a bluemoon.
Fork oil and seal changed once.
3rd front tyre. Now running on Pirelli Sports Demon 110/70 R17. Pure grip.
Fuel cock assembly changed once as filter was clogged in old one and no replacement filter was available though listed in parts catalogue.
9th oil filter. Expected/recommended life 10k km, but better change every 2 oil change.
Piston rings changed recently.
5th brake shoe. Life varies with use. Best 16k km, worst 6k km.
2nd rear tyre. Pirelli Sports Demon 140/70 R17. Threads worn, still sticking life leech. Crossed 32k km with 0 puncture. Many wear preaching low life and puncture susceptibility of this, proven wrong. Recommended any day, but acute shortage due to ISI issue. Costs tad more than any other brand.
Bought MRF Revz C 150/60-17, but never replaced as PSD is still holding good. MRF resting under bed for good 2 months.
5th spark plug. Using NGK G-Power only. Platinum-tipped one with pointed tip. Never needs cleaning or gap adjustment. Cheaper and worthier than Iridium, which of no use on FZ.
Swingarm overhauled once.
Plus some seals and gaskets.
Chainlubing with gear oil only, saving a lot on costly chain lubes (pure gimmicks).
Expenses till date:
14k for routine spares.
12k for tyres.
2.5 for batteries
SVC labors - 4k (75% jobs done DIY, so saved a lot)

Got it back after service. Carburettor slider gone. Replaced it and got it washed.

Only limited spare parts in stock, they have started scaling up their inventory. One of the best Yammy guys in Trivandrum from Hilton Yamaha now managing the workshop. They got ready stock of all shades and models of FZ-series, SZ-series and Ray series. Still to start full fledged operation. Service is pretty slow now, starting hiccups. Impressed with their service floor. Neat and big customer lounge. 8 fully equipped docks. Partitioned bike wash in the same floor. No way bike need to go out the workshop unless a test drive needed.
Barricade ready for delivery after work and wash.

@deville_56: How is the performance of the engine after the piston ring change? Did you do valve grinding as well? How long have your respective Pirellis lasted? How well has the FZ aged after all these years as compared to what it was when new?

One more "K"
Changed rear tyre after all the wait.
Duke's 150/70's overall dimension on FZ's narrow rim is almost similar to stock 140/70. It is less wider on FZ rims, not even 130.
How chunky it would on a wider 110 mm rim. Estilo got 165 profiles.
Performance is more or less the same. Lost some in refinement part, still way better than brand-new RTRs and P220s, a bit more vibrating. Afterall getting old make it weaker, but still young. No valve jobs done. Will rework the whole engine with new parts at 80k-1L km
Rear one lasted 35444 km to be precise. Started balding by around 30k km. Was planning to change before monsoon, but to the surprise it was holding like hell despite no treads. Anyday I will buy Pirelli. Front one is relatively new, just around 10k km.

Managed to do valve clearance setting.
Brand new chain set. Another DIY job. Previous set lasted 39383 km, over 2 year 6 months.
All-black theme completed. Only rear set was remaining, that too painted black.
Parts changed
Chain Sprocket Set - 1240
Damper Clutch Set - 48
Straight Screw Plug Set - 20
Clutch Switch - 32
Tail reflector - 18

Indeed it's built for streets. Can do 25 kmph in 5th gear, needs very less gear shifts, easily flickable.
