@Nick bhai, finally after searching and digging the entire market... I got these :
2 pairs Alpine SPS-600 ( 80 W rms speakers ) for all 4 doors.
1 JBL GT5S644 4-channel Amp. (4X80 W @ 2 ohm. 4X60 W @ 4 ohm).
Scosche wiring kit.

I have kept it at home to get it fitted at the dealership by the audio mechanic.
Is it a correct decision ? i mean, will the amplifier reach its highest potential and be able to amplify the speakers to the required level ? I mean, how do u check compatibilty between amp and speakers.. idk ! HELP needed nick bhai ....
I know that alpine speakers are premium quality speakers and a good amplifier which can match it will be ENOUGH quality sound !

the system is perfect speakers match the amp brilliantly and alpine is awsome
regarding hyundai touch navigation i dont mind waiting for it, but if it has no pre outs it kinda looses my impression over it but if the add in dvd support and take the old hu and at a good price they just have to show me the credit card payment slip for a signature

IMO, wait for Hyundai standard accessory touchscreen music player. I don't approve of CASKA/MOTEVO type. Afterall, genuine accessory from company are the best[thumbsup]
I20 touch screen option is nothing but CASKA brand. Thats what the CASKA dealer told. Need to check the authenticity of his statement.

its a chinese thing same what ashokpondi has. its available in usa through hyundai parts dealers comes at 21k rs and on amazon excluding customs and shipping while caska and motevo to are chinese and cost 41-45k. And i feel caska/motevo is more reliable than the oe hyundai thing but cant say untill hyundai launches it for us

that's good choice... especially speakers looks very premium.
you will need 2 hi/low converter for 4 speakers
and how much did you pay for the speaker and amp?

the amp is entry level like the sony amp i have but it has all the features needed in it. like freq/gain/ hi-pass,low-pass/bass boost for all channels. this is sufficient for driving your speakers.
btw are you sure your amp is 80 w rms @ 2 ohm? or is it 100 w rms @ 2 ohm ?

waiting to see your ICE pics

hey , i am getting my new verna fluidic in couple of days replacing my honda city.

I have already spent 55 to 60 k for my music system in honda city .
now i am not sure that i can replace the stock system -- specially the head unit with custom one in verna.
I have double din sony mp3 player.

My cars music system specs are-
1.Head Unit -- Sony WX-GT77UI , [Double DIN MP3] [3 preouts]

2.Woofer -- Infinity 1260w -[1200 watts - 300 rms ] [ I will buy one more sub soon]
-- connected to jbl amp

Hi Niel..
Nice job dude, I have recently got my all new Fluidic sedan and I just love this car. I was previously driving Sx4, well from last 5 years, I have been enjoying heavy music system in my cars, and have done modifications in all most all my cars from WagonR to Esteem to Baleno and Sx4. Now am confused about Verna, as I coudnt find any provision to do so. Could you show me video or something what have you done with you car? I just wanna have a look, your help would be great dude. Thanks.

Thanks Dude![:)]

Thanks a ton dude. its Verna SX(O) CRDi White.. Just love driving his sedan.. I have pioneer HU, 2 Alpine amphs, 1 Pioneer Premier DVC woofer, JBL Ovals & wiring, and 4 Kicker components.. Currently I have installed woofer, amphs, ovals only in the verna with company fitted HU n components direct with the HU as I dont wanna spoil ma warranty.. Not using the JBL bass-tube presently.. Now the problem is, am not getting the bass as boot is sealed, speakers are currently on top of the rear tray and al most touching the rear glass. So these are the problem am facing. Have a look below. What have you done in your car? Pls advise something bro!!

man you sure have a rave party in that trunk. ok well i have not fixed my speakers on the rear tray they are all at stock locations 2 hertz hi energy 6.5inch components. front is stock for now. a kicker 4 channel amp, since head unit has no pre outs its connected by hi lo converter.
i never wanted to cut the rear tray and then take a risk. neil has a sub in his verna and hes happy im not sure if fully. since you have good ovals and comps run it from the amp if any issue happens only that region which failed which was affected by your mod, wont be covered, warranty stays intact for the rest.
im in a major confusion whether i should add a sub or not.
a better option wud have been if u had installed ur 4 kicker components in stock locations tho rear tray gives better sound

Hi dude.. I jst can't drive any car w/o music and that's the reason I always travel in my car.. Well, I did same in the Sx4 3 years back, I wasn't in favor at that time too but I'd to gas cut rear tray and spent a lot on the components for the 1st time.. But after a week, I realized that am not enjoying the music as much as I use to in my Baleno. Ultimately I'd to gas cut the rear tray, n specially made a wooden tray with Ovals installed over and left some space open for the sub sound to pass in my Sx4.. Now in Verna, I was about to go for gas cut again but the problem is there less space because of the rear glass and the tray is damn small (tk a look below).. So presently Ovals are on top of the plastic tray.. I blv just 4 comps can't beat ovals shoulder level sound.. Btw what's the risk in cutting down the rear tray? I have done this in all my sedans and never faced any problem..
Hate to bother so much in installing our choice of music makeover even after paying 12 lacks to bloody Hyundai, am jst not satisfied with just the ovals and comps.. I desperately need some idea to get the sub sound out of the trunk.. I love Skoda for their rear arrangements in the sedans..
Could you or Neil give me some idea pls?

well i have seen some cars having subs fitted in the rear tray can that be done?
in the verna as it is the glass is sloped and tail is high so you make obstruct some visibilty. im sure there has to be another way out just have to use our grey cells. ill have a look in my car and see what can be done
