But whenever I click on the video/pic sent in whatsapp it will get saved in whatsapp itself and I will view it there. Then If I like to save it on phone, I will press on that and try to save in phone. Please check it once again

I have checked RK and after that confirming, i can view all the pictures shared on whattsapp on the picture folder of my wife's 720 and dont need to open wattsapp to see or view them.
If you disable the option to save media files then they wont be saved and you can watch it only on wattsapp itself and no where else.

Bluetooth 4.0 coming to all WP8 Lumias says the Verge | WMPoweruser

We have recently heard that the new generation of Nokia Lumias (520, 602 and 720) would be getting the Bluetooth 4.0 update as part of the Nokia Amber update, and we have seen Nokia’s Bluetooth 4.0 driver passing through the Bluetooth SIG.

Now the Verge claims, from “sources familiar with Nokia’s plans” that the update will in fact be coming to Nokia’s full Windows Phone 8 range, including the older Nokia Lumia 820 and 920 handsets.

The news should reassure the mass of 920 users who have been hoping to use their handset with accessories like the Fitbit when software for those gadgets become available.

Presumably with the update will also soon be coming to Nokia’s latest greatest handset also, as the Nokia Lumia 1020 still ships with only Bluetooth 3.0 support.
Some More Tech Details Behind Nokia Lumia 1020 Revealed | WMPoweruser

Lumia 1020 is a great engineering achievement from Nokia. While many predicted that Nokia will introduce a stripped down version of 41MP sensor/over sampling tech in Nokia 808 PureView to make a slim mass market device, Nokia did the opposite. Nokia revealed a device which combined the following,

Next gen 41MP sensor/Over sampling tech,
Next gen floating Optical Image Stabilization tech,
Next gen Rich Recording audio system
New kind of Xenon flash
Even though Nokia had most of the above components ready, they could not use them in a single device due to size constraints. They developed completely new components of all the above to pack them in a slim device which we now saw as Nokia Lumia 1020. The camera unit of Nokia Lumia 1020 contains 100 parts and it is 10mm tall which is larger than the phone casing itself.

Two less-highlighted technologies in the 1020 each illustrate the necessity for long-term R&D and the need for partnerships to produce bespoke hardware. Both are a case of Nokia requiring others to push the limits of what they can do. These are the flash unit and the audio recording technology.
Nokia’s Rich Recording audio system (PDF) has a wide dynamic range, capable of recording whispers alongside gunshots, and no distortion in a range of sound pressure ranging from 33 dB (Sound Pressure Level) to 140dB (SPL). The sound of a watch ticking is 30 dB SPL and the human pain threshold around 120 dB SPL.
To miniaturise this required the design and production of custom High Amplitude Audio Capture microphones. Xenon flash, which gives a burst around 100 times as bright as that of an LED, is very rarely seen on smartphones for cost and size reasons.
Nokia insisted on having it, and this in turn required miniaturising conventional tubular Xenon capacitors – inevitably replaced with flat capacitors.

July 16, 2013 | By Surur
Nokia has announced that Gi Group, a leading Italian multinational company dedicated to the human resources market, has chosen Nokia Lumia as its business smartphone, replacing BlackBerry. The company offers temporary employment, staff leasing, research and selection, executive search, outplacement, HR consulting and training in 19 countries around the world.

In 2012, it found a job for 160,000 individuals and served over 15,000 companies, with an overall turnover of 1,092 million euro. The Group counts 480 branches all over the world and over 2,400 employees.

Gi Group has already provided more than 800 employees in Italy with Nokia Lumia smartphones, including the Nokia Lumia 925, the Nokia Lumia 820 and the Nokia Lumia 620, with plans to expand to all of the countries where the company operates.

The ability to seamlessly operate with Gi Group’s Microsoft Outlook mail and Microsoft Office applications was an important factor in the choice of Nokia Lumia. Using Microsoft InTune, the company’s IT organization can manage the Nokia Lumia smartphones remotely, installing new apps and services and remotely wiping confidential and personal data if an employee’s smartphone is lost.

"Our people need to be able to connect with colleagues and access and edit Microsoft Office documents, wherever they happen to be," said Barbara Cottini, HR manager at Gi Group. "They also need to access our customer relationship management systems as well as their professional social media networks without having to have a laptop with them at all times. Nokia Lumia offered us a unique way of doing this, with elegant, modern smartphones and a user experience that is immediately familiar."

As a company which truly understands the importance of making a personal connection with employees, contractors and clients, Gi Group also values the ability to use Microsoft Lync for conference calling and is evaluating using Skype, together with the great cameras in Nokia Lumia, to enable video interviews with applicants when they cannot meet face to face.

Nokia Lumia also offers HERE Maps with LiveSight to help Gi Group people feel at home, wherever they happen to be as well as HERE Drive, with free, turn-by-turn navigation to help them get to their next meeting.

Paola Cavallero, general manager for Italy at Nokia said, "Gi Group is a great example of how Nokia Lumia enables smartphones to become an integral part of any company’s IT infrastructure, working seamlessly with their corporate systems and freeing their people to work effectively wherever they are."

Re: Nokia Lumia Series Smartphones Discussions and Experiences

I still couldn't save the video on phone.
If it was saved automatically, I couldn't trace its location in phone.

Pictures app - saved pics .
I was talking about videos. There is no such option for videos.

There is no option of saving the video on phone. Even after pressing on the video from whatsapp, save option doesn't appear.
