Thanks Arun.
400 is ok for me. Can you/vroom post picture of your holder.

I am planning to buy Nokia 5800, which has GPS system.

Yes, will definitely post it. I have a Nokia 5233 which has the exact same dimensions of the 5800. [:)]

Today i purchased Mobile Holder, similar to 2nd option in this post.

Put Aux-In cable in Blaupunkt HU, similar to what Grandeur has put.
Also put the door protector like below. I will post pictures once i take it.

Congrats! Where have you placed the pocket-type mobile holder in your car? and door scratch protector is useful, Earlier my car had full beading on the corner of its doors but soon color faded, So I've completely removed it recently.

RSM nice photos. Btw those seat covers are not an original equipment fitment as done by Stanley or Karlsson. Did these guys not explain the difference in fitment? [confused]

From your photos these are skin fit slip on covers as can been seen by the white elastic bands. This is why the fit will never be as good as an original equipment fitment because your existing fabric covers have to be removed fully. 11 K for that is way too high. Just my 2 cents.

Punto leather seat covers - OE fit

This is an image of customized leather seat covers with an OE ( original equipment) fit on a Punto. Notice the seat contours are all visible. The fabric covers have been replaced here. This is the most comfortable and durable fitment of seat covers.

Sudhir, thanks for stopping-by to this thread.

These are slip-on covers. Yes i was aware of the fitting difference of these 2 types, but for some reason, i was not ready to remove the OE fabric seat cover. I got it done @8.5K. 11K was initial quote.

[:)] Okay I guess its a good thing you did not remove the OE fabric since its a slip on. But they must have punctured the seat through the fabric anyway in couple of places while fitting this cover? Somehow I find slip on covers uncomfortable and its a compromise on the finish. Had a terrible experience with my old honda city few years ago after I unknowingly bought branded leather covers from the Honda showroom. They turned out to be slip on covers and I found the difference later the hard way ! The salesman never told me the difference when I made the purchase. It kept shifting about every few months and I had to keep going back to the showroom to refit.

But I am a bit suspicious of such low prices you mentioned as its a reflection on quality and origin of leather and material used, but that could be just me [:)]
Locally made leather which does not meet auto upholstery standards are passed off as genuine Italian leather etc. by many vendors because they are addressing only a price issue.

And by the way artificial leather is a plastic by product, it is either PVC /PU and its not 'automotive leather' . Vendors use this marketing jargon.

Automotive leather is genuine leather which meets certain technical specifications for car upholstery. Sorry for the rant !!

Sorry RSM I had first thought that your slip on seat covers were all art leather thats why I said 11K is high. 8.5 K is very low for any genuine leather content unless its locally made leather. [:)]

Sudhir, nice to see that you have good knowledge on seat covers. Wish you could have joined us earlier.[;)]

My seats are combinations of pure leather and pu art leather. The center (body touching) part is pure leather whereas other parts are art leather.
The guy from Pensee is dealer of pure and automotive leather in bangalore, so taking directly from him helps a bit.
