Worked really hard tomorrow and today on my 1st scratch, it’s a damage more than just a scratch. Still feeling pain in my back and leg. It was really a painful work. The sudden view after the job done was disappointment as the paint didn’t match. I will wait for the paint to dry completely and then will check. Tomorrow I am expecting a big smile on my face.

Oh god please take me out from this pain [cry], It was my 1st day drive .

Congrats nayan!! Which color? I saw two new colors, wine red and ember blue (same as i20). Somehow new alloys do not go with these colors. I wish they continued with old alloy design!

Thank you all Below are the pictures
The colour is sleek silver Was confused between the white and the silver, Chrome handles went well with the white while with the silver it didn't make much of a difference. But for me the new alloy looked awesome with the silver colour and opted for it. [:D]

After the paint done I was really disappointed, the sprayed color was darker and didn’t match. I said all pain got in vain. But after few hour when it dried, MAN ALIVE! It was a perfect match. The color matched perfectly.
For this type of metallic silver color its really hard to match the color 100% always except OEM color.

I will post the details after all detailing done. Here is a picture and it was when the paint was not completely dried. I only touched up the damaged area. Here you can see 40% of the paint particle dried and rest are not and looking darker. Ignore the brown cello tape left over.

Ordered a Jopasu Car Duster and FORMULA 1 SPRAY WAX at eBay on 13-Oct-13 and received the Duster Yesterday. The material looks good but didn’t used it so far. The duster cost Rs. 477.00.

Thanks Soumen!. Will be starting my own thread soon. BTW, Did you paint it yourself? I have one stone chip mark exactly at same place and the ASS guys are saying they need to paint half bumper. How did you do it? The job looks awesome![clap]
Thanks. Yes I did it all by myself. But you need skills, patients to get the work done perfect if you want to DIY. I worked on it Sunday and Monday half day. Mine was really hard as it was at the edge and curves. I need to match the surface and also it should match the round edge and curves.

I knew about the ASS that’s why I even didn’t think about them, also they would charges a lot for this and they will unnecessary paint more areas if they will work professionally otherwise they would just touchup with paint like I did earlier. Also there have many other reasons. But I only did the damaged area, if the color didn’t match or close to match still it will be fine.

After my job done I will write all in details so that you can fix it by yourself.

Oo man! Your car looks awesome. I didn’t noticed the picture. Yes the new alloy looks good and chrome handle also looking nice in silver color. And the angle of this pic is nice. Good shot.

Like you I also choose white from the start but just before booking select the silver color when see one. White is very common.
