Even this could be if the driver door open. At my garage today its hand break was turned on and the driver side door was open. I start but it didn’t, I was surprised as the car was in neutral, then tried again but no luck. Then close the door and put the hand brake off and its start. I will check by the door open tomorrow.

Another thing I noticed, if the car is locked and you unlock by the remote and don’t do anything, after a few second the car get lock again by itself. I observed this only once.

Also like Nick said, there have no button beside the rear camera to open the hood, I checked very carefully. Where I saw the switch in earlier models it’s a flat plastic cover there. I think probably its in SX(O) only or its removed for the new model.

And one bad thing I noticed, while refilling air I tried to check the 5th wheel but it was turned inside and without removing it one cannot fill/check the air. And I couldn’t as I was in hurry. Don’t know if its same for alloys.

The Bluetooth get connected by itself if within range and the phone BT is active, it works smoothly with my Galaxy S.

Also I don’t know how the headlight angle adjuster works, while driving I tuned it from low to high but didn’t see any effect. What is its purpose?
Yes the car will lock itself in 30 secs if you do not open the door. If you open the door and closed it . It won't lock automatically.

The new model don't have a button for boot opener at rear. It's available only on SX(O) model. You can open the boot either through the key remote or through the boot latch opener near driver seat.

It is the headlight leveller. The beam will go up and down (On Zero, the beam is highest). You will not notice it if you are on a well lit road. Try it on a dark road where you can easily notice the beam.
Ok I will check that at my garage 1st. But like i said on road while running, i tuned it but didnt see any difference, and it was dark then, may be because the car was moving so that i couldn't feel the difference.

Really? Mine starts with hand brake on. May be you had forgot to press the clutch [:)]
Nope, I was very sure. It was in neutral and the hand break was turned on. And I tried to start twice by full turning the key but no luck. Like I said this could be two reason either the hand break active or the driver door open. But as soon as I close the door and release the hand break it start in one turn.

Even if it was in gear the display would show press clutch to start. But nothing.

I think its most probably due to the hand break but I will check again with the door open. Due to one of these it wasn’t start I’m sure. What is your model?

Oh.ok. Mine is sx crdi . SX model do not have option to show press clutch on mid. Its only available in SX O. Correct me if i am wrong. I have started my car lots of time with handbrake and then release handbrake before moving. Please check again and let us know.

Oh boy its not!!!!! Its not my fault either. Just checked now. It didn’t for the hand break on neither for the door open. When I check closely it was like a malfunction gear switch. If I put the car in gears and then back it to neutral still it didn’t start until I press the clutch. I don’t know it’s a faulty thing or not.

And yes no ‘Press the clutch’ indication on mid.

One bad news....I read on internet that facelift Verna is about to come in 2014 :(

Hyundai Verna facelift caught on test in China

The testing is going in china
I used to checking car news everyday twice before talking the car and afterwards I stop. If its truly coming soon in early 2014, say “all is well, my car is better. Car manufacturers, mostly Hyundai will reduce the production cost by modification as they cannot hike price after a certain limit due to segment price scale. People will think they are getting new models on the overhand they will lose things.

If this news is true and in 2014 Fluidic Verna will be getting a facelift, then definitely it will be cheaper for Indian market. I checked the image and the covered car has body panel turn indicator instead of the mirror indicator. I saw a face lifted Fluidic Verna image like in your link sometime back and here its attached. Look closely both (mine attached and your news link) have turn indicator at body, not in mirror.

And don't worry, even if you like the newer version and dying for it then just change the front bumper.

I got this SanDisk SDCZ15 USB for the car. I was looking for a small 8GB USB which will take less space at the car USB area. I ordered this one from snapdeal and its cost only Rs 364.00. It was looking small in the picture, but when I got it its really a tiny piece. Its awesome for a car music system, also as its head is red color so one can easily find it as our cars USB area background is black. One bad thing is its writing speed is only 4mbps so I doubt if it not work as I’ve seen many USBs are not working in verna. But as it’s a SanDisk I go for it.

I liked the new bumper design. If it comes i will definitely get this one. Fog lights are also changed and can be a good news to verna owners as i have seen many complaining about L shaped fog lamps that it looses and falls from its place even after a small strike.
But where is the hyundai logo on front???

This one is working flawlessly. Just plug-in and it started. This is how it looks inside when plugged in.

looses and falls of the L shape fog lamp isn’t due to its L shape, its due to the bumper quality, this could happen with O shape fog lamps too. By looking at this bumper its looks similar to Vento bumper.

Probably they've planned to remove their Brand logo for cost cutting. :lol!:

One more question. Any idea about rear bumper. As the front bumper has something like air vent below fog lamps. It looks good but if the bumper will be of same quality, one will surely going to curse hyundai again. [anger]
I am also having this sandisk pendrive in black colour. It so small that one can not find it in car easily. Looks too good. [:)]

Sorry buddy, sometime back I somehow got that pic and saved that in my PC, and when I saw your link I found both are simmilear and recall that picture. I don’t have the anymore snap.

Yea this pendrive is awesome for cars, it takes no space.
