My kid is 9 month old, she wants to travel across all rows of LUV, she keeps changing her location from her mom to grand ma to my sis to their daughters, in that cycle she came to front seat and her mom was holding her.

I really thank GOD, nothing bad happened since I was at 130kmph and dont know what could be the out come if windshield breaks suddenly.

booster seat is a good Idea, can you post the picture?
I had uploaded booster seat photo in this thread earlier too.

Booster seats can be used only for bigger kids, older than 6 years I guess. These are relatively cheaper and I remember seeing one around 1500 in shoppers stop recently.

There are 2 more stages before that. (1) Infant seats used for very small kids & after that (2) kids seat which has a seat with back rest used by kids from 2 to 5 - 6 years.

very useful info,
hey I sat in Innova today, I found more rattle in innova than our LUV(may be individual case not sure), 3rd row seat comfort in LUV is better than innova iff 2 people sits

getting in/out in LUV is easy (IMOP)

I travel in Innova to office everyday. Trust me, the comfort of seats in LUV is much better in all the 3 rows, especially the last row. The height of seats in Innova is too low causing bad under-thigh support for tall people.

Absolutely!

One more thing I hate about Innova - second row travel makes me very uncomfortable (feeling of nausea). Initially, I ruled it out thinking it should be my medical condition. But after couple of rides and similar experience, I discussed with my friends who travel frequently about Innova & everyone shared the same experience. In fact, some of my friends who are given Innova for official commute, request for a sedan (or even Indica).

Btw, I am just sharing my personal experience and what my friends have shared with me. I still have very high regards for Innova for its reliability & Toyota maintenance.

Spot on buddy,i feel the same too, there may be some problem with ergonomics, and somethings in it are plain and subtle.2nd row seat is too low,not much comfy like ertiga.May be i have sat in 1st gen innova that's why.

Rest It's toyota innova,no issues.

I will get my car today, hope the rattle has gone.
MASS is more inclined towards making a hefty bill for no reason and less importance to the problem.
Like i just went to drop down my car yesterday the service guy was like you dont have to do service, oh. i have just done my service at 20k kms and current odo reading is 23k than also he is telling that make the service done. When i said no than he brought up something new that get your car polished atleast for which the amount was 2k for which again than i told no and he told that the few scratches which are deep will also be gone in polishing, i wonder how can it be as it has to be painted only for that scratches to go.
I was firm that i did not want to do anything done on charges basis after my experience with them for my servicing bill for 5th service.
After telling him no for many such things he was like ok sir as you wish and than he took the car and i went back to my work.

Some dealers are quite a headache! But there are some real good guys too.

The reason I never considered Innova for us and even when my grandpa wanted to buy a car is all the above you guys have mentioned also including the arrogant pricing, less value and crappy highway performance, vibrations and efficiency.

True Sir.

But Maruti won't let us down. When I was booking my Ertiga there were rumours around anniversary edition with BT compatibility system, leather seats and some more goodies and hence was in a bit of a dilemma. However sales guy was very confident that Maruti generally launched anniversary edition only on V models and not to expect anything great except cosmetic stuff. And Feliz edition was exactly what sales man had explained & hence no regrets.

With respect to the images you posted - Ertiga looks really hot with these changes. However as you mentioned 17'' wheels are not practical for Indian roads. But I really liked the front grill and rear bumper.

Hi All
Good news . Maruti replaced my front windshield under warranty. As per dealer, maruti also of same opinion that an external force applied on the windshield crack. But since the vehicle is new and as a goodwill to the Customer, Maruti agreed to replace the windshield.
Now I need to go for permanent registration this week. Thanks guys for all the support

I had installed AC filter in 5k service for first time and MASS suggested replacement in 10K. I gave concurrence mentioning they can replace if in case it is dirty. As expected they replaced it & I also never checked old part for close to a month. But when I happened to see during the cleanup, the filter was as good as new and got really angry at MASS for being unprofessional.

They had also done a messy job with water wash. They used hard water which white dots all over including windshield & also on the dashboard (kept windows open I guess). WORST thing is they put same hard water along with some windshield solution in to the windshield washer tank. Cant imagine how they could be so stupid. So I had provided bad feedback when Maruti had called.

Coincidentally, in a few days from then MASS called up asked reason for bad feedback and what they could do to rectify? I gave him a mouthful and promised to adjust in next service - I have been asked to retain the filter.

Coming to your question, bad smell needn't be because of AC filter alone. If some water spilled on carpet (non PVC) & it is damp for a day or 2 - there will be foul smell like dead rat.

Otherwise based on condition of 5k used filter, I would suggest at least it can be done after 15k to 20K kms unless you are using the car in extremely dusty conditions

They had replaced the AC filter after 11,000 KM. But there is no harm in changing after 7000 KM as this costs you only Rs300~350.
