It's only after changing the tyres that I have got the courage to test my Figo for high speed runs. Now there is no tyre noise, no wobbling, no tyre suealing on braking, nothing. Just plain sweet engine sounds in the cabin.
Already the handling of car was top notch. After new tyres, it has become even better. I am getting pleasure out of( unnecessarily ) driving Figo into the corners. This has never ever happened with any car I have driven so far, and trust me there are many in that list.

Check the air filter box too, if not already. It's a perfect 3BHK for rats. Leaky filter can clog the throttle body, like ours.
I think it's a very wise advice. I plan to look inside the air filter box soon. Incase it is very dirty I will need new one.
So presently I am searching for new oem filter, which is nowhere to be found. All the shops are selling diesel figo air filter. Petrol is very rare it seems.

Chances of finding at Ford. Same as 1.6.
You were correct. While all the retail shops were selling Diesel Figo air filter, Ford ASS had stock of petrol filter. But the catch is they want the car at their place. And they wanted to open the job card for the same.
No over the counter sale allowed, they said.
Obviously I did not agree to it and left.

Available in Boodmo.

Here there are two dealers. Harry Ford is similar and won't give spare and say the same BS. Other dealer, Kairali Ford, got counter sale and helps procure any part. There is also one Focuz Autoparts which runs Ford Genuine Parts shop, but clueless with petrol Fords.

After a lot of physical effort in the summer heat, and lots of to and fro between the two Ford dealerships in Kanpur, I was ultimately successful in procuring the petrol engine filter for my Figo.
I will be opening the filter box tomorrow, to replace the same.
Overall the experience was Not good, because the Ford dealers in my city are greedy, only waiting to exploit hapless customers who trusted Ford and bought their cars. i will give them 2/10 if asked ever. They never help when requested.

Kenda, Nankang, Federal all are chinese brands. For 2-3 years unlimited kms these are great. After that the rubber quality shows in. Good for upsizing and looks. Can get different profiles, with different thread patterns.
CEAT is a proven tyre, but comfort wise it is less compared to rivals.

Actually I am aware of the value proposition of these brands. But I was not feeling confident hence went ahead with ceat tyres.

One more thing I noticed was that these Chinese tyres were not having ISI mark, at least the tyres shown to me. I don't know how that's possible. Maybe they were not visible to me.
I searched and searched, but could not find it.

Even my new Michelin Primacy 4 has it
