Re: 4300K Quality HID Kit Technical Review and Install (W+Pics)

Hi Bhvm
It is with great pleasure that I would like to report as per your suggestion I contacted the seller on Ebay and what a man he turned out to be.
The entire stock of his was eaten by rats but as soon as I told him I am in urgent need as I am going to Ladakh he sent me from somewhere a 35 W Uglare one without asking money.

Now that is super.

Then I fitted them. Some alignment issues. He was constantly in touch. But the thing is he solved my problem.
Now as per the mutual understanding I will be going to his place which is on my way to ladakh and get them personally which is the real ones the 55w and give him the 35w intermediary ones.
Great experience thanks to you Bhvm.

I am attaching some pics as how good the 35 W are on my creta projectors.

Thanks.
Pravin V. K

hey pravin
I too own a creta 1.6SX and using uglare HID's , the customer support from abhishek is very nice and he is very friendly
i bought many kits from him for my friends car's too

im using 35W 9005 wireless 5500k kit
and 4300k h27 kit for my foglamps
and a 32" led bar near the bumper at present

earlier i used 55W kit but had blind-spots and returned that and got the 35W 5500k wireless kit with metal base bulbs
it still has blind spots but better than the previous 55W kit

can you post me the pics of the illumination of your lights ?
and your using 35W 4300k kit? or the wireless kit ?
and as you said there is mis-alignment issue , can you say me how you solved them
i too faced the same problem but returned them and got different kit

and one more thing Creta has weak projectors and it is suitable only for halogens and not HID's
many owners in my city who used Philips hid kit also reverted back to stock because of the above issue

im attaching pics of the 55W 4300k which had blind-spots issue and
and even pics of the bar installed and i dont have illumination pics at present, will click them later
and the bar causes lots of glare and i dont use it except in highways ,

Something is wrong with those Projectors or Bulbs or Alignment.
There surely shouldn't be any spots on the tree tops!

Hi BHVM,

I have a Zest and plan to install HID in it. I have an old HID kit from my Palio and it had the same configuration of H1 and H7. Can you guide me in finding replacement dust caps for the headlamps?. I would like to return to stock when giving the vehicle for service as they may crib about warranty specifically the SC in my city.

If anyone else can give any leads it will be helpful. Will the dust caps from Vista fit this ? The size of the headlamps looks the same except the addition of projector inside.

Phrozenwire,
There shouldnt be any problem with service/warranty as HID kit install does not involve any wire cutting.
Reverting to Halogens at each and every service will be quite a task. You will have to undo the ballasts and everything. Also, Swapping bulbs every so often will mess up the alignment screw.

I do not think spare dust caps are available to purchase. Your best bet would be scavenge them from Scrap/ Accident vehicles. Give a small tip to one of the senior mechanics at SVC. He'll find it for you.

By Angel Lights,I assume you want to install BMW style Angel Eyes for DRL purpose.
This will require you to dismantle the headlights and install the corona rings inside the Headlight housing. Its definitely not easy to add these. and the Mod may void your electrical warranty.

If you want simple functional DRLs, Better refer here-

As per our experience and knowledge, the main reason of flickering of HID bulb is less amount of current supplied. This is majorly seen in DC kind of ballasts and even in few cases where the AC ballasts are installed can have this kind of issue. Solution to above issue is installing a relay to provide ample amount of current to the ballasts.

Also, there are kits available these days which can work even at low voltage of 7.5V. Everything depends on the quality of components used inside ballasts.

Apology for landing on forums very late due to lack of time [:)], Now its time for us to be more active on forums to share our experience and will surely try to give best possible solution related to HID's.

A big Thanks to our customer BHVM and all others who trusted us and gave us the opportunity to survive in the market and helped us to build our name for quality products. Even the brand name "UGLARE" is our customers gift to us. [cheers]

One great new to all the cars having H4 socket we have brought new mini projectors specially designed for H4 holders which will be direct plug and play and now opening of front glass is required. Will update about the focus area soon as being just 1.5 inch lens we are not sure about the width it would cover. However, manufacturer confirmed the quality to be the best.

Regards

Hello TD!
The Matchbox projector Projector is surely the great option for h4 cars like swift/i10 which lack projectors and HID bulbs cannot be used due to Reflector glare!

Please post beamshots on the wall, and what is the cost of those?

Good morning @bhvm, I read and saw somewhere LED DRL cum turn indicators lamps used in WagonR, if I remember correctly, it was from aliexpress, could you please help me locate this.

Also I plan to replace all stock small lamps to LED's like parking, number plate side turn flashers etc, in both my Nano XTA, and wagonR, which do you recommend.

Had to ask the DIY Guru.

Regards,

Vinod
