Before it was like this. There was no throw on the road. Now where do I find a professional.
I talked with morimoto guy and showed him this picture he said it's fine. :/ I asked him as a favor. He then told me morimoto's are in stock.
I got the excelite brand HID'S. 35 Watt 4200k color.

He has not done a good job of mounting the ballast also. Left bulb was flickering sometimes.
Just wanted to know that pasting the ballast with the double sided tape provided in the box is sufficient to mount the ballast or not ?
Elantra doesn't have any space to properly mount the ballast.
Hi,
From the pictures it looks like the bulbs are receiving less power as 4200K color will be more towards yellow with white tint. Also, the flickering is also for the same reason. Try installing a H7 relay harness wire which will help to stabilize the current to bring on close to actual color and eliminate flickering issue. The cutoff alignment depends on cars projector so you can adjust manually from back of the headlight assembly. Last option try changing the hid bulb as the capsule might not be at proper length. You can try interchanging the bulbs from left to right and see if the same issue. Hope this helps.

Hi All,

Recently we upgraded our HID ballast to ASIC design both for 35W and 50W and results are coming very positive. Also, we updated the H4 Hid bulb to get better output, below is the Pics of Bulb and relay along with output video link. We will require feedback and comments for further improving them if required.

1. return wire is generally on the top..on ALL kits I've installed, return was at top. it shouldn't be a hindrance. hid projectors are made for this and will mix the light in reflector before sending it outward.
Its generally on the bottom. In all my cars is in bottom.

The idea is that light bounces upwards, hits the reflector and gets focused down. Upwards return wire might be casting a shadow.

Can you re-seat the bulb?
Hi, Where do you suggest the return wire location should be? Top or Bottom?
There are contradicting posts, probably a typo, so which one is correct? [:)]

Thanks.

That's Interesting,
Thanks for pointing it out!

I checked my XUV once again. Return wire is at Bottom for reflectors.
I will report again if I pull my projectors. But Bottom seems the correct answer.

You can install it without relay. A difference of just 1W doesn't matter much.

Thanks Mate. This is the item. Will it be better than the oe halogen fog light performance.

I have ordered the h4 6000k too for headlights. Will this also do good. I'm using osram night breaker 55w now.
Just now checked this post and the LED which you ordered for fog should be better than OE halogen. The real output of these LED is 25W, have cross verified with our specification list. Below is the specs

25W COB 4300k is good enough if compared with 35w halogen. Now for the H4 headlights, as per my view, it might be not come up to your expectation for two reason:
1- Color temp you choose 6000K will be good if road is empty and no upcoming traffic.
2- power wattage is a bit low

Hope this helps.

Thanks mate. So fog is good to go. So as per you which h4 led for headlights would be good.
As you have already ordered would recommend to try them, as in LED technology it lot more depends on how the reflectors are complimenting the LED. Even a low powered LED can perform better if it gets the sweet spot of your reflectors.

I can guide you choosing the right LED for future purchases as whatever we have tried till date are a bit costly. Also, below details is my own assumption and i can be wrong, below suggestions is based on my experience with these lights.

Things to consider:
1- Color temp you are choosing - 4300 - 5000K is ideal for visibility ( now a days there are LED's which have three color chips used which you can switch on the go. )
2- Chip used - try avoiding COB and look for at least CSP chip for budget LED's. COB chips are greater in size which find it difficult to find the sweet spot of reflector and behave more like flood beam. Also, tend to decay soon, Initially they will light up great and slowly and gradually output will decrease. In comparison the CSP chip are smaller in size and can acquire good amount of light from single spots.

Not mentioned CREE for the reason for end user/customers it real hard to check if the CREE chip is original from USA or made in China. The china ones are also good the power rating is different to original ones.

As per my feedback, Luxenon MZ is the best chip i have tried but costs go high and life of all these leds are almost same due to not getting proper heat sink.

Few links which i found can be a good option is below. Please note have never tried these but looks promising to me.
