Actually I dug up your Thread for reference images before attempting this. Thanks Doc!
I am thinking to buy Proper LED replacements for these lamps, as its quite a task to replace them
Also, The original bulbs were Osram, made in Germany. I just wonder how much local bulb will last.

Found out that fuel flap on Thunderbolt was not closing properly,
Upon closer inspection, Found out that one of the tabs of the solenoid gun was broken-

Better seen here-

My usual idea of using white tape and teflon tape to hold it in place-

Thanks Doc,
The part appears cheap but whole assembly is hidden below 3rd row paneling, which I don't want to to tear down.
Tape is holding very well.

My beasts are suffering a Massive Rat Attack. Have installed Rat cakes & Sticky pads.
Thunderbolt is also due for 1L Service. The quoted cost is about 22k and includes Timing chain replacement. Of course there are Engine oil, Gear oil etc stuff. Will update as soon as service is done.

This doesn't look good at all. I am afraid it might have done some damages elsewhere. Looks to be going on for 7-10 days at-least.
Aren't you driving it at all??

I was away with the Elephant for a good week.
Dad uses the XUV regularly but does not pay close attention (nor I expect him to).
No damage observed and all systems are working so far.

The items they did bite into are Rat cakes, Thankfully.
Once these cakes are not there, they bite into other stuff.

The leather from my driver seat has also started to peel off from the exact same position as yours. Let me know if anything can be done about it.

2.Gears, esp 1st & 2nd are hard
3. Lowbeam alignment
4.All oils, Filters replace.
5. Reverse Horn not working.

For the key rubber issue, you can order the key fob shell from amazon, I am using the same, and get a rubber cover for it on top.

For the reverse horn I was told to keep the unlock or the lock button pressed for 6-7 seconds to activate and deactivate (dont remember which button).

We are done through most of the service. I've pointed out some oil leakage from EGR area and vacuum pump area. ASC are suggesting to inspect turbo for the same.

Go ahead , Turbo can be inspected also (as if EGR cleaning is done , the process is quite easy for them also , as access to Turbo is also easy .
Also check with intercooler hoses.(They are the ones susceptible for cracks )

Thunderbolt went for 100k Kms Servicing a few days ago. Here are the details-
1. All oils changed, Including gear oil. All filters changed except air filter.

2. Front suspension bushings changed for about 3k. Damage was not much but I thought I should get it done.

3. Reverse horn was just muted. Fixed that.

4. Gear shifts were hard, for this lubricating spray was used from top (Under console) where linkages are. Along with the New gear oil, Gears are now softer but not as soft as My Safari. Strange?

5. I pointed out 2 Oil leakages. One was near Vacum pump which is a common one and was just fixed using some sealant.

6. Major Concern was Oil film on EGR. For this the EGR was removed and thoroughly cleaned using spray. Also Pipe joint seals were replaced with new ones. If the oil appears again, Turbo maybe faulty. [angry][frustration]

7. Overall cost came to 23k which feels a little on the expensive side.
