sony beats nokia hands down

sony is being very aggressive with the pricing. in a few years sony will be a force to recon with at the expense of samsung.

samsung has changed its stance in note 3 with a different back which critics and consumers have welcomed for a change.

Color accuracy is better in Sony , sharpness is better in 925 . Given the price range can we compare the 1020 lumia with Z1 ? [evil]

Conclusion
On its own, the Xperia Z1 does make a case for itself as the best Android phone camera. With a decent sized sensor and fast shooting times, the Z1 shows a lot of promise but is let down by the post processing that each image goes through. Hopefully a software update from Sony might be able to fix that down the line.

The Lumia 1020 has the best image quality I’ve seen out of any phone. The bigger sensor helps achieve immense amount detail along with best in class low light performance. With addition of manual controls, it allows you to be creative in ways that weren’t possible before with a phone camera

The xperia Z can be compared with lumia 925 since price range is somewhat same . Then who will come as a winner ? [;)]

Iam only going to discuss camera here with you not windows and android because that will bring attention of mods in a minute lol.

Everyone's waving their 5-inchers, eh? BlackBerry outs new supersized Z30

If at first you don't succeed (Z10), try (Q10), try (Q5), try again

Slumped phone giant BlackBerry has announced its fourth BlackBerry OS 10 mobe: the Z30, a five-inch OLED-touchscreen device.

The display is not all that's big. The new mobe, pictured below right, sports a suitably supersized 2880mAh battery giving 25 hours of "mixed use", and similarly large internal mobile radio antenna, according to the Canadian biz. With stereo speakers, it's aimed at consumers rather than enterprise and public-sector grunts.

The Z30
It retains the same screen resolution as the 4.2-inch Z10's 1280 x 768 resolution, meaning the Z30's display density of 295 pixels per inch will be lower than the Z10's 356.

Under the hood, the gadget has an ARM-compatible 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, an Adreno 320 graphics controller also from Qualcomm, and 16GB of storage plus a microSD slot. Its display is the same size as the Android-powered Samsung Galaxy S4.

This latest phone should be available in mid-October, but no price has been set and for now you'll have to rely on BlackBerry's stock images.

The Z30 will arrive with version 10.2 of the QNX-based OS, which should also seep out to beleaguered Z10, Q5 and Q10 owners by the middle of next month via an over-the-air update. This brings a bunch of much-needed fixes and enhancements, including a new notification system that allows one to fire off message replies in an instant.

There's a site demonstrating the new handset right here.

In June BlackBerry disclosed that it had shifted 2,700,000 BB OS 10 devices into its distribution channel, lower than analysts estimated. In August the company announced it was exploring ways to revive its fortunes, including partnering up with other businesses and ritual dismemberment. ®

Camera showdown: iPhone 5s vs. iPhone 5 vs. HTC One vs. Lumia 1020 vs. Galaxy S4

Detail and colour

One of the trickiest scenes to capture because of the high level of foreground and background detail, the cameras have their work cut out for them in this final shot. The HTC One, again, blows out the highlights in the sky and the foreground so much that this detail is not recoverable. The Galaxy S4 has a nice, crisp image, though it is a bit too green, just like the iPhone 5s image. The iPhone 5 photo looks pleasing, but the winner for this one is the 1020, which has an even exposure and a good amount of detail.

The handset's 32GB variant is now listed on ecommerce website, Saholic, which mentions the delivery date as September 30. The company is expected to unveil its new flagship on September 30 at an event in New Delhi, for which they have already sent invites. LG launched the G2 globally back in August. The listing was first spotted by Fonearena.

The LG G2 sports dimensions of 138.5 x 70.9 x 8.9mm, weighs 143 grams, and will be available in Black and White colour options.

The G2 also comes with some software features like Answer Me - that automatically answers the call after lowering the ringtone when the phone is raised to one's ear; Plug and Pop - which recommends options or related features to choose from when the earphone or USB cable is detected; and Text Link - which allows information embedded in text messages to be selected and easily saved in a memo or calendar and searched on a map or the Internet. Nexus 7 get another price-cut, now starts INR 9,999 on Amazon.in

Google might still be selling Nexus 7 starting INR 15,999 on Google Play; other retailers have reduced the price of the tablet multiple times. The latest price-cut, which comes from Amazon.in, has taken the price of Wi-Fi only Nexus 7 16GB version to just INR 9,999.

At this price, Nexus 7 is your best bet for a Wi-Fi only tablet in the Indian market. The price of the 32GB version has also been reduced to INR 13,999; however the 3G version still costs INR 19,999 (same price since last price-correction).

To remind you, Nexus 7 features a 7-inch 1280x800p IPS display, quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM, front camera, Wi-Fi support and Android 4.3.

While the price of Nexus 7 (2012) continues to go down, there is still no word on the official release of Nexus 7 (2013) model in India. There were rumours about December release but there has not revelation from Google or Asus.

Update: Well, that didn’t take long. The Wi-Fi Nexus 7 is out of stock
