What is Your Internet Provider and Plan?

I have switched from Tata Photon+ to ACT Broadband now (30Mbps 50GB @ Rs.1399). Took 6 months plan got a month free subscription.
It's working as a charm, haven't had any issues since last 4 months. Customer service is also prompt.

Here I am forced to use 3G/4G as I need connectivity on the move and right now is using the Airtel monthly plan of 15GB for 1855 + taxes. Will look forward for a switch to this Tata Photon+ plan.

sorry for the confusion TSIVipul, this current plan is by ACT Broadband provider. Tata Photon+ was my old connection.

You cant do digital india when we cant even get decent speed in our country. Minimum speed should be atleast 2-5 MBPS initially. I pay 799 and get 10 GB of 2mbps that is finished in a few days and after that its a crawl of 512kbps.

Its 1st October today and we finally know that Bsnl has given 2mpbs till 1gb only then drops to 512kbps. This is for two plans only and no changes for other plans.

First they said we are upgrading from 512kbps to 2mbps and this is what we get. What a joke!

Now that 1gb can be used within 2 hours. Are they expecting us to use for a month? or 15 days? Are we playing 675 Rs for 1gb?

This digital india is just a joke.

I think there is no change for plans that have FUP already. Speed drops to 512kbps after 8gb in your 945 Plan, same as before.

It was available in Pune, Banglore and some other cities much before this 4G boom, but it was only available in dongles.
I had used it in Pune some 2 years back, the speed was decent (10MB+ I don't remember exactly) but the coverage was
very limited and it was pretty costly back then.

I mean it was like, if you pay for 1 GB then you get 2.

I enjoyed this for five months around an year back.

No. I don't think I had that benefit. I was using Airtel 3G dongle prior to that and Airtel guys gave a free home demo when the 4G dongle was first launched, also they got my 3G dongle replaced with the 4G one at some special price. It was in 2012 or 13, so I don't remember the exact details.

I am getting 1.6 mbps vs my plan of 1mbps
