Today purchased Sonax Wash & wax shampoo(made in Germany) & Sonax microfiber cloth(40 X 40cm)

I used regular Megs car shampoos to clean first then used a round of Wash & wax, there is a noticeable shine but my car already had a glaze look, shall try it on the older car & see how it goes.
The sonax microfibre loses colour in soap water
Sonax wash & wax =749 ,Sonax Microfibre = 179 ,I got them for 850.

I saw Megs wash mitt at 550 wondering if its any good.

Was wondering if anyone can suggest a good car wash cloth(not for drying the car) i dont like the Sponge as they scratch the car paint
When washing microfiber towels, you should not use any harsh chemicals and which contains any softners in it.

An all-purpose towel should be at least 250gsm, and 80/20 blend.

For drying, the best is waffle weave, but I haven't seen anybody selling that in India.

Try the following links:

There was Megs wash mitt(like in pic) its was 550 rupees ,i was recommended to use it for washing cars but wonder how durable these things are.

@ Civic
I was suggested Megs water magnet (as in pic),it should be good enough to dry the car i assume?

The reason i am getting fussy about car cleaning cloth is, I realized my maid is using my car cloths to clean the kitchen counter & stove [cry] ,After the car cloths are sent to wash it goes for a test drive around the kitchen before sitting in the corner [frustration] where i innocently find it wondering why its smelling funny.
So on a shopping spree to line up/upgrade to good car care products.

Water magnet is fine. But I don't like their wash mitts, I always prefer microfiber wash mitts. I have three of them, one for wheel and one for lower body parts and bumpers and another for other body parts, having separate mitts will reduce the chance of swirls while washing. And always follow two-bucket method for washing.

Use car shampoos like Meguiars hyperwash, instead of Amway and other cheap quality... it's just my points, no offense please.

Guys, yesterday i taken up the waxing task for my BRIO. It took me around 3-3.5 hrs to complete only waxing and it was very tiresome job especially the removal of dry wax and buffing. I used turtle wax which i purchased from eBay some time back.

I like to know does the liquid wax is also so much difficult to manage.

3 hours (surprised) it shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes. Anyways the key is to apply the wax in small proportions, if you apply in large quantities you have to work hard to buff it off. And i'm thinking that you applied in large quantity that's why it took you so long.

May be i have applied in large quantity, it was very difficult for me to buff. Does t also depend on the time for which it is kept after the applying the wax.

In my case i applied the wax on the car in one go and than started buffing. And buffing took almost 2-2.5 hrs[cry].

the wax dries up as you go on applying to other parts but still it's better to wait 10 minutes.

anyways from now on make sure you use small quantities. and it's not important to cover every inch , if you forget some area no worries.

apply wax in circular portions , check this
