@Figoian: As an alternative, get fitting floor mats for the Figo. Recently got the Star mats (online) and they are quite good.

thats true

not just the cheapest rates, they have plenty of variety to choose from and u can select according to your choice / budget also those guys are experienced and able to finish the work faster and well, but you have to drive them to make sure all works are done up to your satisfaction
Agreed. But the problem with JC Road is, finding a reliable guy without prior experience is quite tough. That's why I am looking for better suggestions and recommendations if any TAIans who would have had it earlier.

Although it is very useful and easy to maintain, I personally feel it decreases the aesthetic value of the car.[embarass]
I don't think that to be a concern if it's done well. Rather, it would enhance the looks. Thus the quality of the material and neat finish is my top priorities.

Now, how true can this be? I can see it working the other way round.
If water falls on the vinyl lamination floor you can wipe it with cloth to avoid water soaking into the carpet underneath. But in case if it directly falls on the carpet you have no option as it will soak into the carpet and may lead to floor rusting due to dampness of the carpet.

BTW if I am not mistaken, floor lamination is done for the same reason's.
I agree, this was the sole reason I got the flooring done with plastic.
Yes. The lamination works to be a savior for such reasons. Most importantly, it helps us to maintain the interiors neat with less efforts.

I think he is mentioning the 3D mats here. They are perfectly molded to fit the space available. Cleaning them would never be pain as you can just lift them and clear the dust and dirt inside them. BTW the cost is bit on a higher side.

Yes, you are correct. I did not mention '3D' as it would specifically mean the Kagu ones which are quite costly.

I bought the sigma ones from this site : FORD Figo Star Mats,Buy FORD Figo Mats,FORD Figo Car Mats,Figo Car Floor Mats Suppliers

A little costly but worth it according to me.

Guy's there is a small draw back on this type of flooring.
There are drain bushes under the platform which prevents the rain water entering the cabin through the drain slits.
These slits are there to drain clean the car platform while re-painting.
This bushes may fall off from the slit in some period of time,
Normally if it falls off, during rainy season the water may enter the cabin and we get indicated with the wet carpet and we will complain the service dealer and they will replace it.
But with this Vinyl flooring we may never know the loss of the bush resulting to the rusting of the platform.
On further rusting the clean fresh looking platform may fall off with the seat with us.

So after this flooring check these bushes are in tact whenever your car is on the lift.

I thought, the Vinyl Flooring is done over the existing carpet. Isn't it?

Yes,
we never know if we loose the bush because we cannot feel the wet carpet because of the flooring over it.
A wet carpet is an indication of the lost bush.

Understood. So the best way to keep that checking is to do when the car is on the lift. BTW, where are those bushes located?

Black ones under the platform at front as well as at rear at the leg space.
Excellent. Will check it next time when I hook her up on the lift. Thanks much Alexddas.

Guys - Coming back to the main topic, any more suggestions on the accessory shops?

I went for 3D matts an am extremely happy with it ... they are as good and I would say even better than the vinyl carpet because I can replace them at my will and are very convenient to clean
