1st service update

With kms ticking and near to one month time schedule for the first service of jupiter, called my friends showroom for service.
Been getting my services for all tvs from them since apache time.Head of service advisor is a good friend now knowing each others since 10 years now.Asked me to drop at their another opened service station.Dropped my son at his school and went to the said address.
Was early then the station guys which was not opened yet.[frustration].
No issues with jupiter so asked to get oil changed, and check the main stand as i found it hard compared to wego. Its much easier now with some settings with the spring board and side frames.

Odo reading before getting into service area.

They had this huge board showing the insides of tvs factory and outer image in their waiting area for customers

This dealer got the order for 400 apache from police head quaters, only this pic was allowed as they were still working on the final set of stickers with side storage compartment, helmet locks and some other accessories.

Just before battery was fixed back while servicing, noticed the battery warranty card attatched there, took it out and fixed it along with the service booklet.

Re: Floating Planet Drives Down Here: Juipiter!

After the first service done, thought to see how much this planet enjoys her drinks.
So with the odo at 735.0kms refilled it to the brime and again yesterday with same marks of fuel low warnings and near end dips, refilled it.
With brime to brime fillings she delivered 53.35 KMPL.[clap]
Impressed i am and during this period the routine drives were in 40 to 55 KMPH speed with occassional 60sh twice or thrice.

Completed the 1k mark few days back but somehow missed to take the picture and post.
So while returning back one day from office, clicked this.
Engine is settling down with the kms clocking up.
The modes of sport and eco on the meter to show how the engine is fairing up, its usually with the speed you increase gradually would keep up with eco mode, even till 60+ but if the throttle is pushed on lower speeds the sport blink would glow up.

First of all, Hello from a new member.
I also have booked the Silver Jupiter. Actually, had booked Black earlier, but changed my decision when I saw new the silver one, just before I was about to take the delivery. There was already 2 Silver booked before, me, hence I am waiting since 10 days. Hope, I get one soon and beat you with my ODO reading.... [lol]

Congratulations on your new silver sambit and wish you get your hands on your ride soon.
Engine noise is settling in and so is the ride. With the added foam on seat its much of the comfort rides now. There is a small noise maybe some screw loose or something from the front side. Not sure as i did checked the accessory fitted as well as what i could see if can figure out, but of no help.
So taking the planet to the ASS morrow morning for checkup and rectifying the noise from front end.
Odo stands at 1309.10 as of right now.

Odo stands right now at 1450.1 kms.I filled up fuel at 1295.1 kms.It gulped exactly 3 Ltrs of fuel.
This time the driving was a bit on higher side of speeds, accelerating more between 40 to 60 kmph.
With few harsher ride of speeds the FE this time came to 51.66kmpl.
There is some noise from the front side, fender it seems but havent got time to visit the ASS.Mostly would this week.
Apart from the front noise its serving superbly and I am enjoying my planet.[:)]

Yes, I too get the noise from front. To be precise, noise is coming when I move/kick the floorboard.
I think the fit and finish is not up to the mark.
Monsoons went recently and if I pull the rear brake lever and self-start it, it is not starting even the rear tail lamp is not glowing if I pull it. What may have happened? My dad claims that due to monsoons, rain water should have went inside the lever and the wiring should be affected. Is he correct?

Well i havent experienced the rains in this new vehicle so dont know if that would have or not but my scooter gets cleaned everyday and it doesnt take any issue taking the starting up.Every morning it starts with the first or now with winters setting in second kick and it roars.
Did you checked the battery?Take it to the ASS or even your known mechanic to see whats faulty here.
From what you are saying there is an issue with the connector of the lever cable.Check that once and see.

Battery, self start motor, all are OK but the issue is with the brake sensor wire.

Hello.
Got the Delivery on Saturday. Till now 194 KM on ODO. Measured the milege after consucative tank fulls- its 46Kmpl. Have done mostly 30-40 Km rides at a stretch.
One problem- Bike does not starts with kick during cold start(even with choke) . Once you ride it, it will start in one kick.Touched 80 once(was blown by curiosity). Will not do it again before 1st servicing. :D

It's an excellent bike. My wife uses it for daily commutation. She was using a dio previously. Her review is "It has excellent braking and the storage space is also good. Pickup is excellent too."

I checked the mileage and it is close to 50.

Congratulations.Yes i to have done that in first few hundreds of kms of going past 60 to 80 kmph speed to check the power of this scooter. As i have mentioned earlier, its a perfect balance with the delivery from its motor.
I too faced this early morning starter problem with kick two days but then havent faced it yet.Either first kick or second by max jupiter roars without chocke applied.

Yes mrram, its a superb scooter tvs launched with storage space, height making it more comfortable compared to other scooters i test drove.
I am constantly getting above 50kmpl.

Touched 500Km on ODO. Milege now 50Kmpl. Will do 1st service at 600Km
@ Vijay: Yes, The Kick starting problem is totally gone now. Starts with 1 Kick in the cold morning.
I also have a faint 'thud' sound when i go over a pothole. Its comming somewhere from the front panel. Some bolt might be loose. Cant figure out.
By the way, mu full faced helmet goes inside the Boot space easily.

good going, i am to complete 2k very soon with the odo.Did you checked the accessories fittings, maybe some bolt may have gone loose on the front fenders.Underseat storage is superb in jupiter and same ways my full faced helmet goes in easily.
